JamesYes1	17-May-16 0:58:14 I understand your fear. I've had open chest surgery. Is resection of the pericardium considered "open heart"? What are they going to do by internally to your heart ? Learn all you can. Ask every question you ever think of. Take a little control for your one health care. Although some doctors want fuly informed patients, more often the most "co-operating " patient is the best patient for certain doctors. When you question the doctor about anything, at that second you start taking some control over the whole rotten situation. Good luck man.
