WHEN GIRLS DRINK TOO MUCH............

1. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHERE OUR PURSE IS.

2. WE BELIEVE THAT DANCING WITH OUR ARMS OVERHEAD AND WIGGLING OUR BUTT WHILE YELLING "WOO-HOO!" IS TRULY THE SEXIEST DANCE MOVE AROUND.

3. WE'VE SUDDENLY DECIDED THAT WE WANT TO KICK SOMEONE'S BUTT AND HONESTLY BELIEVE WE COULD DO IT TOO.

4. IN OUR LAST TRIP TO PEE, WE REALIZE THAT WE NOW LOOK MORE LIKE A HOMELESS HOOKER THAN THE GODDESS WE WERE JUST FOUR HOURS AGO.

5. WE START CRYING AND TELLING EVERYONE WE SEE THAT WE LOVE THEM SOOOOO MUCH.

6. WE GET EXTREMELY EXCITED AND JUMP UP AND DOWN EVERY TIME A NEW SONG PLAY'S BECAUSE "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS SONG!"

7. WE'VE FOUND A DEEPER/SPIRITUAL SIDE TO THE GEEK SITTING NEXT TO US.

8. WE'VE SUDDENLY TAKEN UP SMOKING AND BECOME REALLY GOOD AT IT.

9. WE YELL AT THE BARTENDER, WHO WE BELIEVE CHEATED US BY GIVING US JUST LEMONADE, BUT THAT'S JUST BECAUSE WE CAN NO LONGER TASTE THE VODKA.

10. WE THINK WE ARE IN BED, BUT OUR PILLOW FEELS STRANGELY LIKE THE KITCHEN FLOOR (or the mop?) Bathroom floor is also an
acceptable response...

11. WE FAIL TO NOTICE THAT THE TOILET LID'S DOWN WHEN WE SIT ON IT.

12. WE TAKE OUR SHOES OFF BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IT'S THEIR FAULT THAT WE'RE HAVING PROBLEMS WALKING STRAIGHT.

I am writing this blog as a form of therapy for me. Sometimes getting my thoughts down on paper seems to make me feel better and today - I am pretty sad.

A while back I wrote a blog entitled "plucking daisies" and introduced my knight in shining armour to my wonderful friends at NN. I was very nervous about writing about him in that first blog. Worried I might jinx things....perhaps I should have ran with that.....LOL! Damn hindsight!!

Sadly today I am writing because things didn't work out for us.

This is not a man bashing/man hating blog. In fact I don't hate him at all.....I love him with all my heart which is why I have agreed to his terms and his wishes.

For everything there is a "season" and a "reason" and although I don't fully understand all the reasons right now I hope in time I will and I hope that we can remain long time friends. There never has been and NEVER will be another "you".

Not every fairy tale has a happy ending. Not every princess fits the glass slipper. That is the reality of love. Sometimes when you love something so very much you have to set it free.

I am comforted today by his words, comforted by the fact that he does indeed still love me. I am a better person for having him as part of my life.

Sooooo if he happens to read this blog...I want him to know that I think I am gonna be fine and I am looking forward a different end to this fairy tale we started. Princesses are not used to not getting everything they want/when they want it but I guess summer just wasn't our "season"....

I love you babe.....I ALWAYS WILL. I wish you nothing but happiness and can't wait till the day our paths cross again.

4) smirnoff ice chilling in the cooler..........check!
5) kids.......yeah yeah yeah....................check!
6) visa.........................................check!
7) food to absorb the booze & so I don't puke...check!

tylenol for the hangover.....................check!
9) Bailey's Irish Cream for hangover coffee.....check!
10)full tank of gas (omg!!! $$$)................check!

Well Juicy said it best when she said don't blog about it......cause you might just JINXXXXXXXXXXXX it and VOILA.......jokes on me.....I just slipped right through that cloud that me and Miss Jayne were sharing and BANG.....here I am back on planet earth!!

Got a call at 9:10 am this morning....my son had a fall on his face and upon evaluation has a concussion......

So here I am......got a day off to nurse my baby......and nurse a broken heart

.....what a week and OMG its only Wednesday. Only 2 more days to peace and bliss in the Canadian north. Better than that...tomorrow is COMMANDO Thursday.

My daughters BIGGEST project of the year is tomorrow. We have been working like crazy for weeks now. Not sure who is gonna be happier when this is over.....her or me! Hope she does well or I am out $100 (my investment).

I remember as a little girl plucking daisies from the flower beds and picking out the petals one by one and reciting..."he loves me...he loves me not...he loves me....." and so on until the very last petal would complete the tale.

More recently and long before the daisies bloom here I have found myself asking the same questions. Yes NN'ers.....TG has been BITTEN by the love bug!!! A number of months ago I met the most totally AWESOME guy I have ever met in my whole entire life. I can't help but think he has been sent to me for a reason and DAMN I must have done something really good to deserve him too!! He is a member of NN now although kind of a silent one LOL...but he only set up a profile on here after I told him about the site.

I have been brimming over with all the joy he has brought to my life. Many have wondered where I have been and why I haven't been in chat much....well now you know.

So there ya have it...now hope I didn't jinx anything. I LOVE YOU BABE and if this blog doesn't warrant a comment..I am thinking nothing will!!
