So i dont live in suburbia per say but im right on the edge so the title stays.

the area i live unbeknownst to me at time of purchase is retirementville so as it goes pretty quiet, unless there is a big game on TV or someone brought a boat... silent. So when i heard a huge smash and women yelling less than 20 feet away i did the obvious....threw everything i was holding and piss bolted for the door. Im glad i did two of my neighbors both older ladies were yelling and squaring up to each other.

what i found out later was that one ladies trailer that she has been parking on the gutter everyday for four years and never been hit was the cause of the noise. Well the lady over from me (who i have personally seen lose her licence for drink driving twice in her driveway) did hit it and damn she did it well. she must have had some speed behind her because she hit the trailer so hard that it got crunched which completly bent the tow bar of the ute it was attachted to, the ute then smashed into a hatchback witch then hit her dualcab ute. the trailer and hatchback are write offs and both utes need lots of work.

Now just as i was stepping in between them to calm them down and becuse i had left the door open in my haste to get there one of my dopey dogs bowled into me from behind. As i regained my footing but before i had a chance to react i see the lady who had caused the damage throw a punch, it was like slow motion, you know when you see somthing happening but are powerless to stop it, like when you see a glass fall and you just watch it break. the pucnh connected and broke the trailer ladies new glasses but man she was tough, she owns a yard maintenance business and although a slight frame she is hard as nails and skin like leather, she stayed up tried to fight back but by that time i had pulled the other lady away with a fair amount of effort an older man had held her back, all this time my dogs jumping around barking like a spaz.

i gave statement as did half the street the police lady did tell me the no alchol was involved which makes me wonder how the hell she managed it. and what a bitch she was screaming at the woman that it shouldnt be parked there and then attacking her hopefully she will be charged and the other lady fairly compensated.

this blog is to be a promise to myself........

three months ago i lost one of the closest people in my life suddenly it absolutely was the hardest thing i have gone through and its something that is with me everyday i dont cry though which is interesting, i truly now understand what people mean when they say these things make you stonger. Dont get me wrong in the initial moments to be honest i dont remember alot we spent hours ..hours driving to be with her (they were on holiday) hours in a hospital then the drive home and then began the organizing which was crazy, so many relatives to transport and accommodate (keeping in mind that some will likely tear anothers eyes out if in close proximity). writing a eulogy and organizing fundraising. But hardest thing was the photos and slideshow i put my hand up to do. i figured im the creative one it wont be to hard................ IT WAS FUCKED she was everywhere photos of her face in every corner of my life stacked ontop of endless phone calls to ask whatever. I cracked, i did it, got it done and i did fucking well i give myself that but i crumbled i drank more alcohol and smoked more mary jane while hiding in a dark room than i care to admit but i never caved.

to the point the day we found out about her asthma attack i was doing what i usually did, sitting in my nook making pretty things, to be specific i was trying out a new theory beading bottles. the pinkish one pictured below was what i was working on that day waiting for any information. it has so much emotion woven into it i will never sell it. we left that afternoon to be there in her last moments. now three months later i still havnt touched a bead or even been in the nook for that matter and today i am going to try, even if i just stare at the beads or draw a pattern, the promise i make though is that by weeks end i will have something completed, even if its a small rock ive just got to jump that hurdle , i could use the cash to thats another bit of motivation maybe someone reading this could give me a virtual slap across the face or rough shoulder shake may also work

well i never intended to spit all that out maybe i needed it but enough hesitating gotta go walk the walk yadda yadda
