Saturday, March 23, 2013, 3:21:33 PM- These milestones are coming thick and fast now...(oooeeer missus)

It has snowed epic-ally here over the last few days, and as a result I've not been able to get back up to Newcastle to see my beloved Phil.....just have a look at what we have had to contend with!

So me and my mum decided we did need to go shopping and also to the gym, and seeing there was no chance of getting car out of driveway we were going to get the bus - about a ten minute walk away. Now, most of my clothes and shoes are up at Phil's and to be honest I didnt fancy getting my Uggs wet, so my mum offered to lend me her boots.

Its been a very very long time since I have been able to wear boots that zip up, so I wasn't too overtly optimistic...but....

LOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!!

My dad said my mum need to set up a customs checkpoint before I go back to Newcastle because of all the stuff of hers that now fits me, and I have taken a shine to......( Its handy having a fashionista for a mum....)

But I am really, really missing my shiny arse. And he is missing me to. He wont let me post a face pic of him, but here is a pic I took of a walk on the beach we had a few weeks ago when the weather was beautiful. Fuck I miss him.

I ran on a treadmill. For 10 whole minutes. For the first time ever yesterday. And I did it again today just to prove it wasn't a one off.

This is the girl that refused to run at school, who would never run for a bus, who even refused to break into a quick trot EVER. When I joined the gym I said I would never run, and I told my personal trainer that I would rather chop my leg off with a rusty blade than contemplate jogging.

And you know what? I quite enjoy it. I am turning into quite the sporty gym bunny. Zumba, kettlebells, hour long cardio sessions and a personal trainer to boot. I haven't quite hit the target of size 14 jeans before I go on holiday but I am comfortably now in a 16, and I had the embarrassment of having my suspender belt FALL DOWN TO MY KNEES when I went out on Saturday night - this is same one I struggled to fasten this time last year. I now have a wardrobe full of clothes that are enormous on me.

So....5 days being naked in the sun? BRING IT ON!!!!!!!

I bloody love The Divine Comedy. I have always loved anything epic, anything orchestral and anything by a bloke with a voice that makes you wet your knickers.... and this wins in all three departments. Its an album track (hence no vid) but I think this is pure utter heaven....

I have just got into a pair of size 16 (UK and Oz, 12 USA) jeans for the first time in well....decades.

Let me repeat that.

Size 16!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe a 14 (US 10) is a possibility before I go on holiday in 50 days time.....
