Well some of you know I had a major operation in January to clean my carotid artery ( a warning for smokers) so today I went back to hospital to have an ultrasound to see if the blood is flowing ( sorry if your squeamish) . Am pleased to say its fine and alls well. Yay !

Wow what a lovely day I've had. Met up with MB and BG for hour and what lovely lovely ladies they are. If anyone else is gonna meet them believe me your going to love them. Hopefully am going to see them again before MB leaves these shores.

I don't write many blogs but thought I would right now.
It's been a busy year of highs n lows, although no different I suppose to a lot of people.
I had my op in Jan that seems to be fine although am going for a scan next month to check. My beautiful daughter got married in April, how quickly the time goes. I'd love to relive that day again cos it was over in a flash.
It should be sunny here and yet its wet n grey today.
Thank god for nn - my saviour.
To those lovely people I have become friends with , I thank you!
Some have become very special - whisper, a warm caring lovely person whom I love to bits; Madame Bovary is also lovely and I can't wait to meet up with her and BraGirl too. Gorgeous Safire who always is lovely to me. Tightwetlips who also brings a lot of fun to this site with her challenges
Foxilady always comments on my pics which is nice.
There's a few guys I have become friends with too and they're nice cos they don't treat me as a freak x
God am rambling but if there's anyone I missed its not intentional .
Thank you nn for keeping this old guy young and keeping me smiling everyday

A Parent’s Tribute

Today seemed a lifetime away
Now suddenly it’s here
How did it happen so quickly?
This wedding drawing near?
How can I sound so happy
On this very special day,
When in such a very short time
I’ll give my daughter away.
I wish I could grasp a moment
and make the clock stand still
So I could let my heart catch up
But I know it never will.
All the worries of being a parent,
Most of the battles won,
But no-one ever warned me
about the day the job is done.
Yet there is another side

Well what a great day I had x so proud of my beautiful daughter - lots of tears but her wedding went so well.
She's now off on honeymoon to Vegas and Mexico x

Well its unlikely am going to be here for few days. My daughter gets married on Friday so am gonna be drowned with lots of family around but am really looking forward to walking her down the aisle.
I know she's gonna look beautiful and am gonna be so proud.
The sad thing is those that can't be there as they are no longer with us but I know they will be looking down and they will be happy.

Well its that time of year again and it looks like I got family descending on me for the weekend. Shame we can't choose our family like we do our friends . If I had my way I'd celebrate my birthday with my lovely friends on here x

So I spose I won't be around much til after the weekend

Well its only a week to go till I leave one decade in my life and start a new one x am proud to have reached my age and wonder what the next decade will bring. What I do know is am gonna make the most of it and do all those things I wanted before its too late x
so if anyone reading this wants to help me along the way x especailly naughty things then get in touch x hehe meanwhile to all my fave gals on here whisper who I love to bits Madame Bovary, tight wet lips , Foxilady and Safire x lots of hugs kisses n lots more xxxx

Well the stag weekend went well. Future son in law was duly dealt with at lap dance club and I had a lovely dance from a stunning Russian gal x its amazing getting old has its advantages cos bein the oldest guy in the nightclub attracts a lot of attention from the ladies x as I said to the younger guys in the party " watch n learn".
