ps. this is my third year collecting and posting >excerpts< from blogs on this wonderful Christmas day, even though the blog list has now resized from 50-200 I cannot be able to enjoy reading and sharing them all. as this has now taken me about six hours to read and collect what I have now. so with kind words that I have for all of you who has shared their thoughts here on this day though I must find a point on which to stop. so with my eye on the clock I see the time is now. and so I aoplogise to those that I may have missed.

will be the way to share my videos. for I have found that the use of "players" on my new blog isnt large enough for the blog and doesnt allow the viewer to see the vid in "full screen" so after much searching and uploads to a satisfactory file host I have changed the blogger page with links to the videos so that y'all may visit and download to your putor for viewing on your own video player and so that y'all may use the "full screen" option and enjoy what I have made.

the page is explanitory with the text on the right hand side of what to do, and a note to those of you who isnt aware that these videos are made as a slideshow in nature, with pics from my camping and hiking trips with music added...

because this is my vent..

so I am getting quite frustrated with dailup. for after five years on the net now I feel that it has got me by the...

because even after five years of non stop commitance and payments to my ISP I am left with the feeling of being just the average person on the street...

and it continues to leave me in a sense of being just a passenger riding in the backseat of a passing car...

orrr like being the proverbial ship stuck in the bottle...

orrrr the flag pole of distress jutting from the snow...

while I sit here and wait and wait for all the page and image loads to appear. and as I wait and wait for the fun to begin I find myself falling asleep and becoming the dailup brunt of humor like this guy...

and this unlucky poor dailup person...

aaaand also there is the ever unrelenting taunting as...

lol soo yep I can take a joke like the other guy but from my dailup?? come on people???
but seriously folks I am not laughing, because it has now come to the point that every time I turn on my putor I am feeling like I have just been plastered to the wall and made to watch the paint dry...

sooo I know yearn for the good 'ol days, of getting what I want when I want it now!!

and not just to be put on hold while I hope and dream of finding the ultimate outhouse with all the trimmings...

just to be fooled again and left with no place to go...

and also just to be told over and over again as with the ever present message that the page "cannot be found" or "the page has now timed out", yet actually what they are really sayin is...

you're dailup!!!
thus leaving me the feeling once again as if I'm lost on the dailup loser road to nowhere...

with the usual sign posted just outside my browser window saying...

sooo I guess by now that y'all know what I am tryin to say right??
that d.a.i.l.u.p.-s.u.x!!! big time!!! grrrrr

but I know that deep down inside of me...and somewhere in the back of my brain that someday...or maybe oneday...I will be able to afford the luxury of enjoying highspeed internet, and so when that day comes, I shall...and I will...come out of this repulsive dailup nightmare of mine feeling like a new and victorious man...

ok to set this up, we get a brand new refridge/freezer here at work to replace the old refridge/>NO freezer< that we did have say...about two weeks ago, so that we can all put our lunches in there until we take our breaks like before...simple enough right?right.
until the new refridge/FREEZER! arrived that is...
and so without much surprise we find that SOMEONE! isnt quite aware of the law of physics in being that, and should be, required reading on page one of every text book learning too>>
never...put...aaaa...coke...in...aaaaa...freeeeeezer!
period!!!!!
buuuut then ofcourse there must be this ONE! who should unwittingly test out this theory in the laws of physics with our NEW! refridge/FREEZER!.......hmmm...ok.

and sooo I have now made two videos from my camping and hiking photo collections set to music, starting with photos from the first camp at Hidden Creek '06 and onwards there after....

the story...

aaand so I set off to the stores to get the materials to build my Krathong, and since we have Mexican stores here I knew that I would have no probs in finding some corn husk such as I had thought to make tomales[sp?] then one must use corn husk, but to my surprise I found that real banana leafs are used and so the store had them.

soo they brought me a bag of "frozen" banana leafs...and so here I go and say..."their frozen" and the owner said..."yep to keep them fresh they must be frozen"..."soo are you gonna make sm tomales??" and I said..."no, Im gonna make a boat" [now picture the very obvious quizical look on this guys face

)] as I proceeded to explain that I am going to make a boat to float on the river with candles in it to celebrate with my friends the tradition that is just as big as say,Thanksgiving. with all the people in Thailand. sooo they all thought that was a really cool thing to do.

)
sooo then I went on to another store to finish getting the rest of what I would need, I guess? for I have never built a Krathong in my whole life.he,he...sooo as I got home I was trying to figure out how to dry these banana leafs and so I went over to my friend and neighbors house to see if I could borrow their hair dryer, but he said..."no we dont have one...ummmm, so why you need a hair dryer for?" and I said..."to dry out the banana leafs"[now picture the very obvious quizical look on this guys face
