Sunday, September 30, 2007, 9:32:19 PM- Geeze...
I cant help but to get somewhat humored and questionable of ppls motives as to what they post in their blog and so this is one that I had found the other day...
{edited]
"I will cam with any one on this account BUT i have a few rules

1: Be nice, or your blocked
2: No cam, No cam, if i cant see you then you aint getting to see me
3: Its up to me what I do not you
4: Enyoy your self grin

not many rules but 1,2 & 3 are a must,
Oh i will only be on cam when i feel like going on cam and dont expect to much or push me to do things, thats a good way to get blocked, i discovered if you only have a **** account I cant cam with you..."

soooo, why do I get the feeling that this person isnt really into having fun after reading this blog??
and so after visiting her profile and few pics I see that she is only interested in posting pics that her cam viewers have captured and sent to her via the email.
sooo now I'm curious as I havent seen a member that wont take the effort to take "personal" photos and post them here while only posting images of herself from others through email??? beats me as this is a new one to me. soo go figure, as I say "Geeze lady...grainy blurred images from the monitor just dont quite make you look sexy" heh,heh
and so in responce to her blog as for the dont be naughty rules I made a small video parody to her cam thingy, go see but hurry as I have uploaded this to yeehaa wink and they tend to change my links after realizing where I am linking them too...lol they dont seem to have the sense of humor that we all do. wink
its titled; "youve been blocked".

enjoy smile

Sunday, September 16, 2007, 9:07:45 AM- to a special friend...
who seems to enjoy life as much as I, but is as far away as the moon, yet we have come to enjoy a special kindship that enables us to share some drinks and goodtimes as if we were in the same room together, and that special person is ms. nice b**** aka Miss Jayne who so ever visits my blog and photos and offers nothing but generous and pleasurable comments on which I have come to appreciate and accept with generosity.
but since I havent been around much and is unaware I have come to see that after just visiting ms. nice's blog that I feel a sorrow in what I have read on what she has posted over the past 24 hours...and so my friend I offer you these images of good feelings and I do hope that you see that your despare is not just a lonely feeling but what can be understood by others as well, and so I see that you have a friend that has helped during this time of sorrow on which I am pleased, but as for me I hope that my offerings to you coming from me as far away as halfway around the globe will be accepted in kind. and so I'll try and offer you some thoughts of you with big hugs. wink
your friend, David. smile

Sunday, July 8, 2007, 11:11:30 PM- I'm back from spending the week camping and...
even though it was good and enjoyable, I do have some rather sad news to share here, and that is about a month ago I had heard that there was a fire on Johns Mountain but I didnt know where it was exactly until after making camp I had decided to drive up the mountain service road that goes up to the top and also elsewhere around the mountain and so I came upon where the fire had spread over the mountain area that is just above where I camp. and so as I got close to the top and where the road ends I found that the fire had swept through where I had taken photos at this tree that I had come to admire as it was larger than the rest of the surounding trees and stood on the crest of the mountain that slopes downward into a ravine and down towards the Hidden Creek campsite where I camp.
I would guess that this tree was about 70 years old and had withstood the harshness of mountain life especially while sitting on a crest. sooo lets say that I was impressed and had greatly admired this tree. and soo with it I took photos and posted them here in my photo collection, and if ya'll should know my photos then I believe that it was during my third camping trip of last summer.
so fastforward to now and all I can say is that this tree is nearly dead now due to the heat that is generated by fire.
and so I share this sad news that I "personally feel" for this tree and as with all that was destroyed in this fire here on the mountain.
I've taken pics and I will be sharing more later but as for now I'll share what has been lost personally by me...and if you should love the outdoors as I do, then you'll understand the significance of why I'm sharing.
tfvmb. David.

now look at it... sad

Monday, July 2, 2007, 6:43:27 PM- "View d_ashley's blog (180)"
I find that rather interesting to me as that if anyone else who should see it as a statement then what would the average persons first thought be? that the 180 would mean to be 180 degrees from which you are going thus bringing the thought of looking back or turning around from the direction on which we are going. and so a simple thought or statement of "doing a 180" wont raise any doubts as to were a person is in the realm of things. yet as for me, I have had the pleasure of spending roughly ten years working for surveyors and construction engineers on various jobs that have been none other than facinating and also back breaking in their own right. and so when I see a statement on which 180 is used I dont see it as reflective of looking back yet reflective of looking forward because in surveying once you have established a point of beginning[p.o.b.] and after you set the next point ahead then you move up to that next point. then you look back to the point that you have just come from and set your instrument to zero degrees and then you will turn to the next point ahead which could be referred to as 180 or "doing a 180" to see where is it that you will go next.
sooo you see what I am saying? because in any surveying and/or engineering that is done the measure of angles is set on a plane no greater than 360 degrees of course basic math teaches us that but to understand what the meaning of 180 is to me then you must see that in all surveying on any given piece of property no matter the size or shape of it if and when you add up all the angles and distances on which you have gathered about this piece of property should and will all add up to 360 degrees.
and so when I should think of "looking back" or "doing a 180" as a term to describe as back to the beginning then all I see is 360 because in reality on this plane that we all should understand then once you have reached 360 then you have now returned back to your point of beginning. hmmmm facinating knowledge as I am not a math person by any meaning of the word. yet to go and learn it by actually doing it puts our world in a unique perspective indeed.
I have learned with all this that magnetic north is not true north and that there is about a five-ten degree difference.
I have learned that we can plot ourselves anywhere on the globe by using the aid of global positioning satellites[g.p.s.] that have been placed in orbit.
I have learned that we can plot ourselves anywhere on the globe[given some land based points of origin] by sighting the sun and by "reading" its angle, while noting the time from a radio that its sole purpose is to give off "ticks" to every second and then anouncing every hour and minute from a nuclear powered clock that governs time all over the world.
and soo with these that I have learned could be common knowledge to most it was quite a facinating learning expierience for me since I have done all of these and more.
I guess that with all the jobs that I have done then the ten years I spent working in surveying and construction engineering has been the most rewarding and facinating of my life. oooh the stories that I could tell. wink
sooo now after doing my 360 and coming full circle then I will do a 180 and press ahead, and pray that I dont get lost. he,he I've done that as well. lol smile
