Some people have asked about shaving technique. Just like many other couples my wife and I love sex without pubic hair. Both my wife and I shave every day, and we use triple blade shavers, they give the smoothest result. We use toilet soap and hot water instead of shaving foam, because the soap is more gentle and gives sufficient lubrication to the shaving. During shaving be sure to add water to avoid the soap to drying out. Start to shave in the same direction as the hair straws, but make the last stroke in opposite direction as the hair, that gives the smoothest result

Usually I don't have any problems with shaving. My wife get from time to time some red bums, hair ingrowth, in most cases some aleo vera lotion reduce the problem. Don't use men's after shave lotion, it burns and gives irritated skin and even more red bums.

If it is the first times you shave be careful, you will easily get bleeding scratches, but after some time (a week or two) your skin will get use to it and you can shave without problems.

My wife and I tried shaving for sometime, although not as frequent as you, we always had bristles and suffered from redness quite a lot. We now "wax" the first time it does hurt a little, but after the first few times it’s much easier, it lasts four to six weeks, there are no bristles and after some time a large reduction in the amount of hair. My wife is a redhead, which is considered to be very coarse hard hair, therefore hard to shave and wax, she has no problems, I did get a few ingrown hairs when I first started, but a good loofah will stop that. We have found it to be an excellent alternative to shaving. I would be interested in hearing from others and their preferences.

Some women have asked if they should shave their pussy hair. In my opinion a hairless pussy is the most beautiful and sexy, because pubic hair hides an important part of female beauty. Many women do not consider body hair as feminine and therefore remove hair from legs, arm pits and also the pubic area.

My experience from the naturist area at Cap d'Agde, France is that removal or trimming of pubic hair becomes more and more popular. Some years ago approximately one third of the women was completely shaved, one third was trimmed and the last third had a full natural bush. In the latest years approximately 45% of the women was completely shaved, 30% had a trimmed bush and 25% had a full natural bush. For the men I guess a bit less was shaved. If this shaving rate is representative for the European population I don't know, but I would like to know if anyone has knowledge of shaving rates in other places or an opinion of shaving of pubic hair.

The naturist area at Cap d'Agde has accommodation to more than 40.000 people and may therefore be considered as one of the worlds major naturist resorts.
