I've been thinking of getting myself a Fleshlight but I don't know
how to bring it up to in a conversation to my wife.

How does it not look like I'd rather have sex with a piece of rubber than with her?

Trust me this is not the case. I just think this device will fill in the void in between our sexual encounters.

Not sure yet how I want to approach this without hurting her ego.
Or should I just not bring it up. Buy and use it without her knowledge?

Monday, February 14, 2011, 1:43:29 PM- Valentine's Day

Started her morning by jumping in her shower and washing her back side. Quickly jumped into sweats and went downstairs to cook her breakfast and pack her lunch. Plus a few heart shaped treats that she'll find later. Not much on the romantic side but hoping she'll appreciate the little things.

I skipped this morning's run to see if I could get the wife in the mood this morning but as per usual nothing.
Surprisingly she was awake early so I figured we had time before our usual morning routings kicked in.
After the rejection, I prodded as to why. Her response is she doesn't feel the in the mood most times.
She prefers just being held as opposed to getting more intimate.

Problem for me is when she tries to cuddle in the mornings when I'm at my horniest. Both of us lying naked in bed.

I'm not asking that every time this happens, we should engage in sex but when you bat 0.000 then there's a problem.

It's not menopause or it shouldn't be. I think that after the kids she just figured she didn't need to do it anymore.
I guess that part of my life is done. Jerking off is getting old.

I've been married for 12 wonderful years. We've had a good share of ups and downs, but mostly downs on sex as a married couple.
Is it cause I want to have sex possible ten times more than she does? Or is it I have a one track mind?

Needless to say I find myself wanting to engage in sex with the wife but all she wants to do is watch television or she's just too tired cause she of course stayed up too late the night before watching television.
So I find myself going to the gym more often or doing other things that will take my mind off sex.

Sometimes we'd play in the mornings but as per usual can't go any further since I'd be late for work and the kids late for school.

Every time I bring up the discrepancy in the want between us I get the feeling that sex is actually the furthest thing in her mind ever.

I don't think she's cheating on me since there isn't much time between work and home commitments for either of us so our time
is accounted for everyday of the week.

I don't know if anyone out here understands this or has experienced it first hand. All I have to say is that it is annoying to say the least. I guess things will run the same with us enjoying each other once every two or three months if not more at times.

I have to rant to someone and you're it.

"I'm older. But I understand where she probably is coming from. She most likely needs her hormone levels checked including thyroid. Also I personally will kill anyone who touches me before noon lol. I don't like mornings and like to be alone with my coffee, breakfast curled up in my corner with my blanket.
She may be pre-menopausal and that can go on for many years. And yes with kids, she's tired. You most likely will get sex when you're not pushing for it.
But a yrly drs ck up would be good to see if everything's working. Eventually even some men i know need hormones."
