1. What was the last thing you put in your mouth? Sweet Tea

2. Where was your profile pic taken? I thought it was my backyard, but the lighting seems more like my bedroom.

3. Worst pain you've experienced? Frozen shoulder

4. Favorite place you've traveled? Rocky Mountain National Park. Colorado

5. How late did you stay up last night? 11ish, but was up for a while between 2 am & 4am (as usual)

6. If you could move somewhere else where would it be? Georgia, Tennessee probably.

If we're lying in bed, all snuggled up (before, during or after), you on your back with me snuggled up to you with my head on your chest, and your hand is gently carressing my back, waist & hip while you kiss me on top of my head, I'm likely to fall in love.

...with my generator.

Tonight will be night #5 without power. I went to the grocery store today and that was my first time in an air conditioned building since Sunday. The good news is, many others have gotten power restored, businesses are starting to open back up as they are able and we may be able to get gas without waiting two hours in line or having a fistfight for it. Also, yesterday I cleaned my house from top to bottom, inside & out...INCLUDING windows!

We are recovering. #FloridaStrong

Monday, September 11, 2017, 7:17:58 PM- Good riddance Hurricane Irma!

She spent most of the night passing through. The worst was between 1-3am in my area. I HATE nighttime hurricanes, but....all is well. My people, pets and properties are all in good shape. Lots of clean up to be done and no power for who knows how long, but it'll be okay. Gas is still hard to find right now, but I have a full tank & that should last a few days at least. Thanks for all the prayers & positive thoughts!

So, today in prep for Irma,I've passed the time cooking & cleaning. I'll now have 2 more people and 2 more critters at my place for the storm...possibly another family of 4 later. That'll be quite a crowd, but we'll figure it out.
Today, I cooked a bunch of casseroles...I guess to ease my anxiety and to clean out my freezers AND have some decent food to eat. I'll fix a nice big hot meal for dinner later too. Probably won't be on much til the storm passes, but will check in as soon as I can. Thx for the kind messages of concern. *peace*

For the past couple of weeks, we've closely watched Hurricane Irma's track. With every forecast update, it looks worse for my area. The next few days will be the worst....can't sleep now at all.

Lots of people are panicking, which is the last thing we need. The storm should be right over me in about 30-40 hours and hopefully pass quickly.

Anyway, I've prepped the best I can, will have all my kids with me in my home and am hoping for the best. It's likely there won't be power here for days, if not weeks so we shall see. Pray for Florida! *peace*

...there are at least a few people in the status feed that annoy the hell outta me. I generally try to pop in there and keep it lighthearted, but that's becoming more and more difficult to do. After watching their status input for a long time, their insecurities and/or general bitchiness are so obvious, unattractive and tiring to watch. Most of the time, they've forgotten to tuck in their "crazy" too.

I know we all have a right to be there and say pretty much what we want, but I find the fun times there harder to come by these days. And no, I'm not gonna name names, I just needed to vent! Thank you to those who still know to have FUN! Carry on! *peace*
