Meet The Family Dog that lives with Rocky's Parents.

He Is a Jack Russell Terrorist as they call him.

He does not like people much especially men and he does not like the feet.
He was a rescue dog so we do not know that much about him so we think he was badly treated.
He has lived with the family for a good few years now and we do not know how old he really is so we guess he must be about 10 years old ish.
He has his moments and can be a good dog when he has a mind to. I do not put up with any crap he does and he knows it, and behaves himself accordingly with me 95% of the time - the rest of the time he reverts back to his old ways.

Just thought this was a different type of blog to do

My First Time Baking in our New home.

I think the oven temp needs a bit tweaking as the temp read differently to my oven thermometer.

My first attempt also for a Lemon cake with lemon frosting inside and on top. I wanted to make a square cake to be different, I always make round ones lol.

Hope the pics come out as I have tried something a little bit different.

These are amongst my favourite animals, 1 because they are just so majestic and keep themselves to themselves and do not interfere with others unless provoked ..... 2 because of my training as a medium and yes I have been on stage in the United Kingdom.
(That can be a blog for a later date)

Grey Wolf:

Range:
North America, Europe, Asia, and Middle East.

Habitat:
Forest, taiga, tundra, deserts, plains, and mountains

Characteristics:
Coats are usually grey to tawny-buff, but varies from white through red and brown to black; underside is pale.


Behavior:
Few other animals have inspired so many myths and legends. Contrary to stories, wolves rarely attack humans, and there are no documented cases of a healthy wolf killing a human. In reality, wolves, like other predators, play an important role in keeping balance in the cycle of life. Wolves live in packs of up to 20 individuals. The pack hunts in a coordinated effort to bring down large game like moose or caribou. Contrary to popular belief, wolves to not howl at the moon, and their howling is not an expression of sadness. In fact, it appears that wolves sometimes howl for the pure joy of "making music." Howling is also a way greet pack members, to establish territory and define their space for neighboring wolf packs.


Reproduction:
Wolves are sexually mature at two years old. Breeding occurs in late winter and after a gestation of 61 to 63 days, usually 4 to 7 blind and helpless pups are born in a den. After about a month, the pups emerge, to receive food and attention from the rest of the pack members. Wolves usually mate for life.

Well it has been a while since I kind of updated myself lol.
I have not been around in NN for a while and have been taking breaks from NN in amongst real life. You really need to try it sometime and not let NN be your one and only thing to do with your life – Go to work and leave the internet alone. Go for walks, go and do something – anything, watch a movie catch up on some TV that you have let go by the wayside. Learn how to cook even!

Anyway, what have I and Rocky been upto?
You may well ask!
We have been looking at another place to live.
We looked at some apartments to rent online but did not find anything that we liked, don’t get us wrong we do like the apartment we live in at the moment but the damn rent keeps going up and now the landlord wants us to pay the gas/water utilities, so that is an extra $65 per month approx.
No way we thought, anyway one day I stumbled upon a website that had some mobile homes for rent and sale, so thought we would have a look. We have seen a couple that we quite fancied and did some drive pasts on a couple of places, one that we were particularly interested in was still being hauled through the court system and was told by the realtor that we could go and view it on a particular date, ok so a day before I rang the realtor and she said there was a lady going that afternoon with money to buy it (bear in mind she could not get inside to view the place) and I was told that if we came up with and paid a bit more than what was being offered then the home would be ours. Yep she weren’t getting any money out of us without us seeing the place inside and out. To cut a long story short, that realtor and any doings with her went to the moon – lol.

I thought we would never find a place and then last month I got a phone call from another realtor that I had left my number with, he said he was sure that he had something if we were still interested, I said yes ok (a little despondent with the whole thing now). We made an appointment and went to view the place, I think we were pleasantly surprised with what we saw. It is only 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and at the moment we have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so on that level we did downgrade a little. BUT, this home came with all the appliances – Stove/dish washer/Fridge AND a Washer & Dryer – yippee I could do my laundry in our own things and not get chewing gum stuck on the clothes or have someone else’s pubes mixed in our stuff! We put in an offer and the person accepted – We move in on Saturday 15th – everything went through, today Rocky had to contact the utility company to change the address thingy. I have been packing stuff ready for the move – we can manage moving 99% of the stuff by ourselves – I just have to take it a bit easy so it may take us longer but we shall get it done. I am hoping that one of Rocky’s workmates can help with our double 3 seater reclining sofa, cos I can’t lift it – it is so heavy and the backs do not come off, we have looked
In between this Rocky’s parents were taken ill and the hospital was involved with both of them – long story cut short again – Rocky went to work- I looked after 1 parent, Rocky came home from work – picked me up – took me home, had dinner spent a little time with me then he went to the parents house to stay the night to look after the parent at home. Rocky then came home early in the morning, showered had breakfast then took me to the parents house and he went to work then it all started again – this went on for about 10 days – I am sure you can imagine how knackered we both were – I didn’t like the feeling of sleeping by myself much. Both parents are now at home with each other and seem to be doing good.

So yes, to say we were busy is an understatement. I still am – lol
