Oh I love food and I love Christmas! I've not had anything too naughty as yet, just a fair bit of what is quite good for me really.I really love a proper cooked dinner with roast pots and lovely veggies.

I don't really get one thing though. On Christmas Day, when I was skinnier and a wee bit younger, I used to be able to eat brekkie, a three course dinner and left overs for tea at Christmas. Yesterday I only just managed the one course turkey dinner, 2 glasses of wine and some lovely dessert later for my tea. How is it I can't eat as much but am fatter....?

Metabolism I guess (all that giving up the weed has slowed it down). I've never been hugely active even when I was younger so can't even put it down to that. I suspect that all those 3 course meals finally caught up with me lol

Never mind, time for a turkey and cranberry sarnie

You've all been good boys and girls I know

I am full of turkey at the moment and playing with my Nintendo DS Brain Training game - my brain is much older than me unfortunately - but I have had a couple of glasses of wine!

Going to continue ringing around family to wish them Happy Christmas and then snuggle with Mr McB in a Christmassy way! (probably involving stockings of some sort)

Hmmm I realise this morning that I might just have grown up at last.....

I have done my Christmas shopping and packed it.
I am ready and organised to go visit relatives and deliver their pressies today.
The flat is clean and tidy.
I am clean and tidy.
The turkey is defrosting.

Most amazingly grown up of all, I have a posh matching set of handwash and hand lotion in my bathroom!

Yikes, it's all downhill from here ;D

Yes I do mean snow! (what else?)

Finished work for a few days ... now where's the wine? (am sure I was saying a couple of days ago that I would never drink again!)

To you all for your Christmas good wishes

Am on the Christmas countdown now. Doing the food shop tomorrow when I finish work - haven't even got a turkey yet lol! I also need to buy at least 10 different veggies so I can feel like I've had a Christmas dinner!

Will be weird in a way this year as it's just the 2 of us for dinner - my family are all doing their own thing this year. We always have a good time together though so we'll have fun I know

Almost wish we'd been able to get a cheap flight over to the States to see MrMcB's mum. It'll be really festive there and we do miss her as don't see much of her. I also think they've had about a foot of snow which would be absolutely fantastic I'm sure.

It's damp, mild and grey here.... not a flake of snow to be seen

PS Oh yes, they also have eggnog over there dammit - mmmmm!

Last week was a bit of a blur of socialising and working. I have already eaten and drunk too much in general and we haven't even reached Christmas yet!

I've got another 2 days left in work and then am off for most of Christmas and NY (except for 2 days when I work here).

Hope you are all winding down in readiness for the festivities! It's a nice quiet one for us this year I think

I must admit I do feel festive now but it may be because I have been out and about this week. I am off to the big gay wedding party tonight with lots of friends.

We get to dress up in posh clothes (I am in a ballgown and MrMcB is in a tux)and go party in a mansion in the middle of nowhere. My ball gown is nice and comfy thankfully as (typically as I am off out somewhere and want to party!) I woke up with my period, achey and bloated, feeling like a barrel of lard today. You men just don't know you're born...

We are heading off lunchtime to where we are staying so we can all take our time getting ready and have a drinky and some luncheon.

Have to get myself looking alive and sparkly before then. Need to spray my tan on, dye my hair, pop my false teeth in and screw in my wooden leg - you get the idea!

We are into Christmas mode already.... and it's only 11 Dec! I still have to work every day though unfortunately.

Last night, beautiful Italian meal with friends and a bottle of wine (just for me eek!)

Tonight - a few ciders with friends and a really really large bag of chips - hell I don't even eat chips normally (they were very nice though).

Tomorrow - we will sleep and have some rest (and sex) hopefully

Saturday - a big sparkley gay wedding with lots of friends! (am soooo excited)

Yikes. Our social life is pretty hard going at the moment - sometimes I would just like to be tucked up in bed with a nice warm body(ies)

Hibernation sometimes sounds so perfect!

Played Sims 2 all night whilst poor Mr McB played his online game (apparently he was at war all night and under attack big time - I just nod and say "ok" as really don't understand it lol!) Both of us have square eyes now!

Oh I am so sleepy and lazy
