Is posting and viewing posts on NN a symbiotic relationship?
Most of the time it is.
Posters want their posts, pics, vids, blogs and comments to be seen. (affirmed)
Viewers get some pleasure from viewing, reading blogs and comments.
The breakdown seems to be when the interaction becomes negative and there isn't any obvious reason as to why.
Seeing a post that doesn't suit your taste you move on and no one is the wiser.
Seeing a post that is plagiarized or obviously came from another site you might move on or make a comment that doesn't offend and the poster will know they have been outed, again no one hurt.
It's when voyeurs who have no skins (pun intended) in the game choose to make negative comments for no reason about a poster's offering that we lose the symbiosis.
They leach the fun out of NN and should merely save their vitriol for someone more physically present that can beat the shit out of them.
Now that felt good.
