Pre-diagnosis is Anterior Ischemic Occular Neurathopy.
Unfortunately it is permanent.
I had an MRI done and see the specialist again on the 9th.
Hoping for good news. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Woke up with blurry vision in one eye so I went to Eye Dr.
After a gazillion tests, I have a swollen optic nerve and most of my peripheral vision is gone. But my vision us still 20/20. Go figure..
Dr not sure what's going on, wants to send me to a specialist. I hate Dr's but my vision is too important to me.
Keep your fingers crossed.

"Had this happen, I woke up mostly blind. Couldn’t see a light switch on a wall 4 ft from me. Lights hurt my eyes. Went to the ER they sent me to a specialist after not finding anything. Specialist said I had a stroke of the optic nerve. I was on blood pressure meds and fighting a tooth ache the day prior to this. I had taken Ibuprofenand my blood pressure meds the night before bed. My blood pressure dropped so low it caused the blood vessels in my eyes to collapse. Took out my perif vision for a long time. Thankfully it all came back but I haft to wear glasses now to read and drive."
