Not everyone is into chatting. Some want to friend others to keep up with their activities. It's no biggie to me, if someone wants to friend me I accept them.

I'm fussy! If someone makes me smile or laugh with their PMs or on status, I accept them. I get loads of friend requests from people I've never even heard of, which I just decline
