I'm sure no-one wants to know this but I'm excited about my truck. I spent today getting some of the things fixed that were wrong with it.

The drivers window crank was worn out so project one was installing a new window regulator. It works great now

the collar on the ignition switch was broken so I had to install a new one. picked up the part and called the locksmith... he repinned the cylinder and cut me new keys. He also gave me the factory key number for safekeeping.

I also tightened the armrest/storage thingy it was loose and flopping all over.

All this leaves is to free up the belt tensioner and install some new shocks.

Once done with that.... this is gonna be one sweet running truck

Hi NN friends.

I did it, I bought the first truck I looked at. A 1994 Ford Ranger XLT with 125000 miles. It ran and drove and braked so well, and is so well maintained that I had to buy it. I'm so happy!

I think it will be a good truck for me. 2.3L 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual transmission. It will be a great asset to my business.

Last week I saw a doctor for for a mild infection. This is my first visit to a doc since 2003.

When I looked at the results for the bloodwork they insisted on, I was quite pleased... everything was in range. Not bad for a smokin, drinkin, bacon eating old man

PS my chest x-ray showed no lung abnormality

I went to the graveside service for my Mom and Step-dad yesterday. My sis decorated a tin and their combined ashes went into the ground. Now they are together forever.

Thanks to my friends here for your support and condolences this past year and a half.

Some days being a grownup is no fun at all.

Hi all that read this.

My stepdad passed away this morning. Not a surprise, we knew it was coming. Poor man just withered away after my Mom passed last winter.

Life goes on
