to maintain a certain level of calm indifference to most things in life. Not in a bad way mind you more of the "things happen for a reason and the only thing to do is make the best choices to keep moving forward" or to quote John "Let it be". Damned if that ain't tough to do sometimes, it really sucks when ya find someone who seems really interesting, whom you apparently have a lot in common with and your friend request gets declined :( I try to be a good friend so their loss perhaps ;) I say all this humorously tongue in cheek really, but it does suck. Ah well qui sera sera I suppose... Thanks for bearing with me on my rant and have a great day :)

Ok so as I am doing this blog the tv is on. The show is telling a story about a woman from a town not far from me that got hit by a metorite...while sitting on the couch in her living room...she was mostly unharmed. Now that is some shitty luck!

I found this on the preview screen after watching a video on someone else's blog. It is funny how often I stumble upon good stuff that way. Pretty good short animation I think and I watched it in French with no subtitles the first time...no clue what they were talking about :)

I was feeling gloomy this morning on the way to work, cloudy, gray and windy as dawn arrived. I plug in my phone to listen to music on the ride and play a shuffled list...the following are the first two songs it played in apparent total support of my melancholy mood...great songs but a little "on the mark" lol Good news is the day got better, hope it was a great day for all the good folks here too :)
