My p.r. goddess wanted to see the waterfall from my previous pictures when it had frozen solid. It is fun to stand in such a beautiful spot in a silent forest and hear the rush of water beneath your feet. You will notice LUNNA that the sides of the creek freeze up higher because the layers freeze as they splash. The water underneath the thick frozen ice is still rushing and you can hear it and sometimes feel it. With an insulating layer of snow the water will probably not freeze solid this winter.

As some of you know I've been trying my hand at photography. I'm really lucky to have a friend who is patient, flexible and best of all easy on the eyes. I'm still trying to learn about light and angles,etc. I've signed up for a community college course that starts march 20 th. Wish me luck.

I noticed a lot of photo's from New Yorkers posted today. Give those poor people an unexpected day off and they take naked pictures of themselves and post them on the computer. From the pictures I saw we need more days like this.
I was looking thru old photos and saw this one from when I had the N.N. sign. I thought it had a beauty all it's own and is a reminder of the warmer days to come. Not anytime soon though, looks like minus 12 for a low this friday. Not to worry..I've been naked outside in colder. It's what passes for fun in these parts.

I'ts odd, sometimes I'll read bloggs and have no Idea of the drama that unfolds at this site. I don't visit any other sites so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm not using the word drama in a subjective way, I mean it for what it is...dramatic.

I whole heartedly support the effort to rid the site of pederastic and incestous images and stories. I have sent messages when I thought there was an inappropriate image. I didn't even know there was a story section.LOL I don't know where I fall about the whole issue of members vs. non members and downvoting etc. It's way too complicated for me. I hope as a lifer my status won't change too much. I understand completly that it might be financially difficult for some to buy memberships, and I feel they should still be able to contribute. I have met many non paying people here who have enriched my life. I understand others who have had problems with the pond scum that lurks below.

I thought I would post a nice summertime pic to remind me that it will still be winter here for at LEAST 2 more months. I'm going to mexico in a few weeks to ease the pain. thanks for contributing to this site...and making me better.

Oh yes I did....I stretched commando thursday out an extra day to get my new passport photo taken. OOOhhh I like living on the edge!

Last night I had a dream,induced I think by valleybuds threat to host a N.N. party if he won the lottery. It was funny because every one had a face....even those whose faces I've never seen. Well...my
mind gave you one.

Highlights included Valley bud at the bar ( he was buying afterall) Slutsrus and MDguy were checking to see that all were commando. LUNNA and Flacamfan were arguing with Joey about music. Shibby was trying to help V.B. at the bar but they talk different booze languages.

Dawnt and Doug had something great cooking...we were all filled with anticipation there. Raj was flirting and charming his way across the room.Kittn and Juicy had glass cornered trying to get him to spill his toy trade secrets.

J.P. and T.B. are arguing the merits of initials with 40 boobs who has no trouble pointing out the value of numbers. It's a big room ...and it's filled with people that I know only slightly...Amy and Grace and so many others.

Oh the possibilities.

I went last night to once again hear my NEW favorite band..The Wailin Jennies. If you are at all a fan of progressive folk music, or three part womens harmony, buy their C.D. The live show is positively mesmerizing.
It was ,all in all such a great night. Seven friends...a nice hour's drive and beer and burgers afterwards. These are the times that I hope I will always remember to be thankful for.

I'm off to a birthday party!

Well...the bars set up (first things first) apps are all preped,
the music selected. Extra toilet paper in the bathrooms (there will be plenty of ladies in attendance) Nothing to do now but take a nap!
Some people fret about parties...whats the point? You invite a bunch of people, booze them up and watch it flow.

I can't wait to see you all!

I'm so full I may never eat again. Steel cut oatmeal waffles with a hint of cardamom and cinnamon, topped with local maple syrup and my special spicy strawberry jam. Indian spiced potatoes all warm with butter and onions. And mounds of scrambled eggs with a dash of creamed cheese thrown in at the last second.
I may not know diddly about football but your not gonna leave my house hungry! Happy Sunday.....and psssst did you hear about mdguy naked in the library? film at 10!
