Pan fried in olive oil and butter then baked in a veeeeery light lemon sauce.
Delicata squash stuffed with wild rice (hand harvested down the road)
Throw in a few Ketel one tonics and I'm down for the count.
Ahhhhh

In answering Dawnt's blog the other day I confessed I had never eaten lamb.

Confession time....I've never eaten.....pheasant.

That changes tomorrow! My friend Dave just called and said they got their limit. Sat. Evening we all eat pheasant.

I visited an abandoned boathouse the other day. It has not been used since 1916. I was trying to take a spooky sort of picture.

Well...it's not really spooky. But the space was...freaky.

i think a blog should reflect all the experiences you are having. I'm just pissed. I feel like I keep trying and striving to step out of my comfort zone and I get knocked down.
I'd been working on a peice of property for my new business. It was comming up for auction. It wasn't ideal, but I could afford it.
I brought every zero my checkbook could handle and still got shot out of the water. It just made me feel empty. I wanted to go and eat everything in sight. And then I wanted to just spend every penny of this amount I've hoarded. For years now, new shoes?? no way...have to save, A new truck?....laugh. Keeping the thermostat at 60?? put on another blanket. And for what?
I am not a quitter. Right now I am not a quitter.

I'm going forth to battle the throngs. About an hours drive is the wonderful Bayfield apple festival. With 60,000 people packed into a cute village it's a little much.
If you go keep an eye out for me. I'll be the tall gay boy with a large breasted girl at my side. (VB...you wouldn't see me at all!)

This is one of my favorite trails. It's pretty flat and thats a rarity around here. I need more exercise.
