Happy today - browsing through the BBC website, I found this article:

and sent it to Mum, who was, of course, over the moon, cos she was one of the Land Girls during the war.
Still nothing much happening out here, except that the weather has turned shitty so we're not doing any work AT ALL at the moment. Take care everyone.

Absolutely nothing of interest happening out here at the moment, still just floating around the Gulf of Thailand laying gas pipeline on the seabed.
If anyone wants to say Hi, just Google Earth me at 8° 4' 2" N, 102° 14' 40" E. I'll be the ugly bloke on the helideck in blue coveralls waving my willy at ya! bahahahahaha.

Well here I am folks, stuck on a construction barge in the middle of the Gulf of Thailand for a few weeks. I have internet (slow), and I can get on the site, but for some reason it just wont let me into chat!

Some of u may have noticed this pic in my profile. Just a quick explanation:
It's known as Khao Chee Chan, a mountain about 40 minutes drive from my house. It is the world's largest Buddha image, 130 metres high. It was first etched into the sheer granite cliff with a laser, then filled with pure gold leaf.
