...reliving my youth. My favorite dj puts together a cd of songs from the early days. With this cd release is a free concert featuring the bands from long ago (1960's).On this cd is "kind of a drag" by the buckinghams, "bend me shape me" by the american breed and "people and me" by the new colony six.Also "double shot (of my baby's love)" by swingin medalions and "expressway to your heart" by the soul survivors to name a few more. Yesterday the Cryan shames, New colony six, the Buckinghams and Jim Peterik (Ides of march and Survivor) were performing (note to manic panic- these are groups that played when your parents were in high school). The concert was held in a bookstore (where they sell the cd) for a crowd of about 200.They played almost two hours and signed autographs after the show. it's about the most fun I can have without getting naked.

Monday, November 6, 2006, 11:16:28 PM- I was having a great day until...

I was having a good day (for a monday) at work and was just about to leave when word came. One of my favorite customers passed away from a massive heart attack. He was only 43. I did get to see him just before I left for vacation. He suffered the heart attack while I was gone and was in a coma state for 10 days before passing. You just never know, here one day and gone the next. On a good note I heard the Gin Blossoms will be in concert near my home (yay). After I got home I played a Gin Blossoms CD and logged into chat here. I do feel much better now. 2k leaves this blog to Billy Joels "the good die young"

I had alot of fun halloween evening. Every halloween I show up at the public access television studio for the "horrifying halloween happening". We usually get over 100 kids that show up to be on television. I prefer to be behind the camera but I did enjoy passing out the candy (sometimes with a mask on) to the kids, not to mention eating some of the candy myself. We had lots of candy. There was this cute two year old girl who dreesed as a pirate. The host got her to say "arrghh". It was so cool. There were alot of great costumes. After the show, the director invites the crew for a round at the pub across the street. I'm thinking , yeah a 12 ounce beer would be nice. We went to the bar and little did I know that the round was a pitcher. I need to get up for work at 3:30 am and it was like 10 pm. Before I knew it a second pitcher had been ordered. It was a great night but I surely paid for it today.

I just got back from Canada and I had a great time. Some of you know that I was in the Toronto area. I was able to meet up with juicy for one evening. I had checked into my hotel near juicy's house and had invited her and her children to to the hotel for a swim. With the limited amount of time and juicy cooking dinner, the swimm didn't work out. Juicy invited me over for dinner. I arrived and we went out for a beer run. We returned to the house and opened the beers and ate dinner. She served vegetable soup, it was delicious ( I had seconds). After dinner we chated and drank for the evening. At this point I had consumed a couple of beers, and as some of you have heard, I had an accident. No not like peeing in my pants but I did need to pee. So I excused myself to use the restroom. Upon entering the restroom I stepped in and while feelings the wall for the light switch...WHAM. I had walked into the wall that surounds the bathtub. Alright are you done laughing. Everyone heard the noise. I realized I had a huge gash from the blood running down my forehead. I got the cut to stop bleeding so I wouldn't stain my favorite Neil Young t-shirt. Upon returning to the living room everyone wants to know what happened. I told them I walked into the wall and juicy's daughter breaks out in uncontrolable laughter. Juicy and I took a few pictures and talked until about midnight and I left. Juicy is a class act. While in Canada I spent alot of time in the city of Toronto. I got on "the GO train" (I just love how northerners say GO). When I was downtown I visited "the tower" and walked on the glass floor. Even though I know it is safe to walk on, it is a weird feelings thinking that the glass could break , therefore fallings hundreds of feet. Being a hockey fan, I also visited the hockey hall of fame. The other half of my stay I changed hotels to be closer to downtown. Although I got a better rate I felt I was at the "hotel of horrors". They give me this room. Later I decided to relax in the bath. I notice that there is a bath mat. I fill the tub and step in right in the spot that had been covered due to a hole, well I made the hole bigger. Water leaked everywhere outside the tub and around the carpeting outside the door. I had showered for the day so I figure I could wait until morning to change rooms. The next morning I inform personel that my plastic bathtub has a hole in it. They send the maintenance guy to look at it. He says it is unusable-da. They give my a new room. I gather my stuff and transfer everything to the new room. At this point I want to get going and do some sight seeing, so I leave. When I return to my new room I find the heater is not working. So I call for maintenance again. After about ten minutes he gets the unit to work. Finally, peace at last. 2k exits his blog to Foghats "fool for the city"

I really enjoy taking a drive this time of year, especially around the forest preserve districts. The colors are starting to peak. Speaking of taking a drive, I will be heading north for vacation. I will be visiting a place I have wanted to go to since I was young. More to come later. 2k exits his blog to Tom Petty's "Running down a dream"

For those of you that know me or have actually read my profile, I enjoy Neil Youngs music. Neil has released a new album recently called "living with war". It's basically criticism of the us government. One of the songs is called "looking for a leader", it is a great song. Looking for a leader to bring our country home, reunite the red, white and blue before it turns to stone, lookin for someone young enough to take it on, clean up the coruption and make our counrty strong, walkin among our people there's someone straight and strong to lead us from desolation and a broken world gone wrong, someone walks among us and I hope he hears the call, and maybe it's a woman or a black man after all, maybe it's (barak) Obama but he thinks that he's to young,maybe it's colin powell to right what he's done wrong, america has a leader but he's not in the house, he's walking here among us and we've got to seek him out, yeah we got our election but coruption has a chance, we're got to have a clean win to regain confidence, america is beautiful but she has an ugly side, we're lookin for a leader in this country far and wide, we're lookin for a leader with the great spirit on his side, someone walks among us and I hope he hears the call, and maybe it's a woman or a black man after all

This blog is for those of you that are interested in what goes on in my life. Normally I am a very private person and keep to myself, usually speaking only when spoken to. So writing blogs really isn't for me. When I am not on NN I spent my time riding my bicycle during the warm months. I usually ride about 6 miles or 10 kilometers per day. I really enjoy music and attend concerts often. Recently I have seen Pearl Jam, Sammy Hagar, lollapalozza and Crosy Stills Nash and Young. Being a nudist I visit nudist resorts when I can. I have been visiting a new place (for me anyway) with an indoor pool. I really like it. So this is me, I am into nudity, music and bike riding.
