Happy Friday all....
Tomorrow is the last competition for the kids. I can't wait to go to the competition though I am sure dart isn't too happy about it...I have had a cold for the past week and it won't go away...But I am committed to this trip...This rain around here really sucks too...The kids didn't have a practice yesterday because of it...But I know they will do just great... HEHE

I spoke to my son this morning...The band went to a competition down in Oregon...They said the comp was very tough and had different rules then here in Wash...They placed 14th...But I am still proud as ever of them...They played their hearts out...And their director keeps changing their program and they keep going with the challenge and doing well...And Star, that pic should be up later on ok? Oh it was just sooooo awesome....Here is the band at their Festival of the Bands....Their school hosted it!!Damn I couldn't be more proud of them...heehee I cried...Shhhhhh my son don't know it...But my heart sure swelled up with pride.[url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSmul-w6wiU[/url] So yeah this was an awesome weekend...I also booked my other son's flight out for Christmas...Woohooooooooo....Dart is doing just fine...Me, I am doing good...

hello guys and gals!! Yes I know it has been awhile. Nut wiht work and band stuff I have been a busy beaver...LOL This past Sat the band had a performance for family and friends...They were amazing!! Unfortunately I don't have a video camera so I couldn't tape it to show you all...They did such an awesome job. Not only am I proud of my son, but the entire band...phewwwwwwwwwww
The festival of the bands is this weekend coming up so I guess you can figure out that I won't be around...I will be working the festival until 4 and then I am on my own...I get to watch all the bands at work...I sure as heck can't wait. I hope everyone is doing well...I am doing good...So is dartdude and my son...though i seem to have lost dart to another world these days...lol The Homecoming Game was last night and unfortunately we lost...42-24...At least it wasn't zero...the BAND played at halftime and you know what? It is even better than before...They have truely improved since that first game. Next week there isn't anything but practice practice practive...They have the festival of bands in two weeks...I will be at that...All day...But I can't wait. They don't get judged at that one cause their school is hosting...But in 3 wks they are going to a big one in Oregon....And then the final one at Auburn which I am going to...I have decided to get a tee shirt which says Band Mom....hehe Yup proud proud proud...

they didn't take first place they took third...But from what my son said the band leader is pleased with them cause last year they came in 9th...so they came up 6 places...they also got best aux...which is the pit...so all in all, they did just fine...woohoooooooooooooooo ...i am gonna go and crawl into bed next to dart and try and get some sleep...they only got home after 3 am...ughhhhhhhhhhhhh....good night my friends or good day...love to you all...xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ooooooooooo

Hi everyone!! Is ev1 ok ? Me, I am doing well...Dart and I are just hanging around though i am gonna be jumping into the shower soon...My son is away on a competition this weekend...I will be picking him up around 3 am....I tell you...Don't know if i want to be up at 3am driving to get him but that is the time they are arriving home...He tried to call me earlier but the reception was bad...He will call me later...Yeah I miss him when he is gone. I watched them at practice on Thurs and I tell you what...They are as good as the bands on tv....Yes I am a PROUD BAND MOM...I need a sticker with that on it...
Work was good this week...I tell you it was real nice to get a real paycheck this week...lol...I will let you know how the band did when I find out...I am sorry that I can't get on that often during the week...but this girl is usually in bed between 8 and 9pm...LOL well lots of love, hugs and kisses being sent to you all!! Sorry I haven't been around much but working this past week the hours that we do, ughhhhhhhhhhhhh!! we work 6-3:30 or 4:30 or 5:30 ALL depends...I put 54 hrs in this week...Dart was an hr ahead...lol..I really like the work...except that it kills my fingers...lmao....i put circuit boards together and put them into the face of the printer...
I hope you all have had a really good week...I did...The kids had their game last night and unfortunately they lost big time...28-0...But the band, was as usual just awesome!!!!!!!
