Wishing everybody a happy St. Patrick's Day. Even those of us who are not Irish can raise a glass or two and enjoy the celebration.

Spring is near. Yesterday I went outside without a coat. The Snowdrops are blooming and the rabbits are screwing. Most ppl don't know what Snowdrops are. They pop up in late winter and are the first things to appear in my yard. It's a sure sign that spring is near. I have attached a couple of pics.

I am not sure about whether or not I like this new blog format. I'm going to smoke a cigar and have a beer while I contemplate it.

I have 4 anti spy anti virus programs on my puter, 2 freebies and 2 I pay for. Last week one of the programs found a trojan (no, not a trojan condom, lol) on the puter. Before I ran the repair tool I ran the other programs to see if they would catch it. They did not, only one out of the 4 did. Makes me wonder what ppl have residing in their puters they don't know about. Also makes me wonder what else might be in mine.

As I write this blog, my blog view is at 9,997. Who will be the 10,000 viewer? Sorry, I don't have any prizes to give to the 10,000th.

With St Patrick's day around the corner, it seems my email box is filling up with Irish jokes. Here is one I thought was especially good.

Paddy was driving down the street in a sweat because he had an important meeting and couldn't find a parking place. Looking up to heaven he said, "Lord take pity on me. If you find me a parking place I will go to Mass every Sunday for the rest of me life and give up me Irish Whiskey!"

Miraculously, a parking place appeared.

Paddy looked up again and said, "Never mind, I found one."

I like to smoke a cigar once in a while. Even when I was a kid I would break into my father's supply once in a while and smoke one of his stoogies (and pay the price for it afterwards, lol). Cuban cigars are reputed to be the best in the world. But since I live in the U.S. and the government has had a trade embargo with Cuba my entire adult life, I had pretty much given up on ever trying one. Until early Monday morning.

I was looking at online cigar sellers and found that the ones which are based outside the U.S. will sell Cubans and ship them here. I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. Anyway, I compared prices from a European company with a Canadian based one. The Canadian company has better prices and that is even before figuring shipping cost. So, after a few clicks of my mouse my order was placed. At 11:00 am this morning my doorbell rings and there is a box of geniune Cuban cigars sitting on my doorstep.

Ahhh, I will finally get to see what all the fuss is about.

Super Bowl Sunday has finally arrived. For those who don't know, I'll be pulling for the BEARS. I was confident from early in the season they would be in the Super Bowl. I have to admit, I'm a little nerveous for them as the Colts also have a very good team. But I'm hoping for a blowout Bears victory.

The tie backs arrived today, so now I am completely done.
