... deep breath. Relax. It's been raining constantly for two days now. The temperature has dropped from warm to chilly outdoors.

I'm having one of my rare instances of being lonely, craving the touch of a woman... to feel the warmth of her skin against mine. To just lay in bed and hold/be held.

Take a deep breath. Relax. This emotion will fade away in the wee small hours when you go to sleep... to dream of times when you were not alone.

Remember... you like yourself. You like your solitude.

Take a breath. Relax. No tears! Don't be a fool. The past is the past. You live in the here and now. Distract yourself. Have a drink. Smoke 'em if you've got 'em. Oh, look... there's a meaningless ballgame on the television.

Take a breath. Relax. Feel the sensation of numbness grow and overwhelm you. All will soon be well again.

Take a shuddering breath. Relax.

You have all the time in the world to regain your mind.

I watched this concert on t.v. today. Both bands came out and played solo sets, then joined together for the last set. I've seen Chicago live 6 times, and saw REO Speedwagon in concert in the early 70's. They sounded fantastic together!


The finale... a grand show-stopper!

Going out in a few. Shopping? If the grocery is considered shopping, then yes. Otherwise, I do my shopping for Christmas online.

Watched a little of the frnch supernatural show "The Returned", some football (boring, my team doesn't play until tonight... Da Bears!), posted on FB and now answering messages from my favorite NN friend.

My day is fine so far... how's it been for those of you to my east?

Our first cold night, Sunday. An extra blanket and I was toasty all night long.

Back up into the 30's today, expecting 50's by Thanksgiving!

Someone I care for, who has touched my heart and soul in just one week(!) has found someone to love.

I'm happy for her and a touch sad, too.

But the happiness of those I care for is the utmost desire I have to give.

I'm suddenly hungry for a KitKat bar.

The opposite of love. It hurts more than hate. With hate you know WHY. With indifference you never fully can grasp the reasons for the action (or lack of).

So many times you hear these words spoken with anger. I refuse to accept your anger.
