High temp of 80, blue skies and sunshine. Talked with my neighbors and got a few rays. Took the car out for a cruise and did some girl-watching.

Now I'm ready to shower and start cooking dinner... movies later.

It doesn't get much better than this, y'all.

When I was a kid and a teen, I would run into a wall or fence to catch a ball because I loved sports.

As a young man, I threw away every thing I had for the love of my life, who then broke my heart.

In my 30s, I gave away my future of a secure, high-paying job and distanced my friends - even went to counseling to try to save my marriage. She left me any way.

Being an older, mature man now, I look back on all that I gave up for the things I loved. Not once was anything ever given up for me in return.

Instead of turning sour, I've realized these things happened because of poor choices on my part. I still have so much love to give... I simply give it to family and friends now.

I've gone as far as I can go down that road. Perhaps in the next life I will get it right.

70s this weekend! Spring has finally sprung. lol

I think I'll take my car out for a wash and wax, then cruise, baby!

Saw a woman yesterday dressed in a simple blouse and a full length skirt. The woman next to her was wearing a mini skirt and a low cut blouse. Both were beautiful. I kept looking at the woman in the long skirt... I suppose my imagination made her that much more desirable.

Go figure! lol

... everyone overnight made the same amount of money, imagine the chaos that would ensue on so many levels.

Ate a whole Digorno pizza and had chocolate pudding for dessert last night. My dream this morning before waking up:

I am riding a scooter through the ruins of my hometown. Zombies are everywhere, reaching for me. I find my first love standing on a corner crying, but she won't come with me.

That's it. I love my imagination!

... just keep on coming.

36 degrees Saturday, 59 degrees and rain today. &0's by next Sunday. (?)

What a wild ride temperature-wise Friday was!

It started out cloudy. Raining by the time I left for work. At first break it was sleeting, then at lunch the sun was shining. At last break, it had been snowing... about three inches!

I remember a saying the late, great Harry Carey had: "If you don't like the weather here, stick around... it'll change in 15 minutes!"

Ah, springtime in the Midwest.

Just saw a guy walking past my window on the street wearing combat boots, shorts (it's 39 degrees outside!), a Batman T-shirt, Some sort of homemade cape and a Darth Vader mask.

I don't know what he's on, but I want some!

Didn't win the lottery Wednesday, so...
