Two days ago (Saturday) a man showed up out front on a backhoe. He attached chains to the big (heavy) slab of steel covering the hole in the front yard, moved it 6 inches, unhooked the chains and drove off. Anything to get a little overtime, right? ~ | ||||||

One of the perks of working afternoons is not having to watch election coverage in the evening. When I got home last night, I watched cable t.v. and checked results about once an hour before I went to bed. Today, not much has changed from last night. No one has won yet, so I guess it's like the old saying: It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings. ~ | ||
