I was sitting at my computer, drinking my morning coffee, when the power went out. Only then did I remember getting a message from the local power company telling me the power would be shut down for about 5 minutes for maintenance today. I sat, sipped coffee and waited. In 4 minutes the power came back on. I stood up, walked into the kitchen and reset the clock on the microwave, came back. 3 other clocks and they're smart clocks, so nothing to do but turn the computer back on and carry on with my day. A little hiccup, but life goes on. ~ | ||

Wednesday, I was put in FB jail over a joke I posted about Jeffrey Dahmer. I thought, okay, since the moderator obviously has no sense of humor I'll abide. Besides, I wasn't going to post anything on Thanksgiving any way. And so today, at the given hour for my release, I decided to post something on FB. I immediately got a message saying my account is restricted for another 24 hours. What? Since when is 72 hours equal to 48 hours? I suppose math wasn't this moderator's strong subject in school. ~ | ||
