really detract from the NN scene. I'm not faulting NN too much, I know it's tough to get people to fill the moderator positions and in general it's certainly better to have them around to silence the occasional idiot in chat who just starts spamming racist nonsense in all caps. But I've been here for something like five years now and have never been kicked from the room until today.

A friend was mentioning buying a new sex toy and in an effort to "help" (meaning make a ridiculous joke) I posted a link to a Cracked magazine list of disturbing sex toys. She said that was totally gross (which was totally correct) and so I apologized and said I meant to sent this: http://www.bad-dragon.com/toys which is a link to dragon/alien anthropomorphic dildos. Then I was booted from the room. I came back in simply thinking that my connection had failed and realized there was a question over why I was booted. I lol'd and said I just thought it was my connection. The mod told me I was warned and I said, "Ah, didn't see the warning" to which he replied, "bullshit."

Now who here is being destructive to the fun and flow of chat? I posted a fun joke in the room and was getting the discussion going on what sex toy the girl should buy. This fuckwad is coming out with all hostility where there was none before. I understand that there is a rule about outside links in chat but it's not as if I was advertising for anything or linking competing sex sites... unless NN is going to launch its own brand of dragondicks soon. This kind of shit just takes everyone's fun back a notch or two.

Of course, bitching about it in blog isn't entirely without its entertainment value.
