Do our pics really deserve a 1 rating? I'm serious, please check them out and let me know. It seems that many times pics we post get a quick 1. If there is something about the pics that we can do differently I will do it. Help.

I don't like to give ones. However, if the photos are nasty revenge pics put up by jilted guys, or photo shopped pics where the body and head just don't belong, it's hard to justify giving anything else. That does not refer to your photos. There is, however, a lot of shite put up here from the web and giving them a 10 is hard to do!

Well it actually brings up the whole point of why there is even a voting system here. If a poster is verified and puts up a picture, I think that they should be exempt from ones or low marks. A lot of people have been hurt here in the past by low marks.

I suppose - but really I don't pay attention to the rating system. I suppose if I really cared I would look and maybe be crushed by 1's - but really it's in the eye of the beholder. Although I do think 1's sometimes are just people being rude.

No - I don't think verification means a lot except "street credit" maybe - no offense. I think about getting verified - but friends here have spoken to me, some have met me - so I figure that's all I need FOR ME. The gold shield doesn't do anything for me personally. But then again - it is a help I know.

Over on sister site NBN, we get lots of web posts, and I often give them a 1 on principle, even if I save the pic to my hard drive for a wank later on. NBN is supposed to be for amateurs!

Also on NBN, there are men who like men to look like men and not like gurly poofs such as me

- and they automatically downvote me on general principle. I don't mind... that's their world view and they can do what they want.
