Some Status Pic's thoughts....

The simple matter of posting pics into status placed into NN..

1) When they are here, they are here to be seen.

2) The pics do not state who they are.

3) There is no link to any profiles.

4) There can be no charge of "self-pimping".

5) Pics liven up status.

We have the option to have our pics only seen by members. If you post one in status, the thumbnail is viewable to people who are not logged in. It is unfair for you to put them out in public if the poster prefers it not be.

2) The pics do not state who they are.

That doesn't matter at all. We don't use our real names here. It is a matter of possibly being recognized by someone, and some of us don't want that exposure.

3) There is no link to any profiles.

Again, it doesn't matter. Posting pics without asking first is disrespectful for the same reason I listed above

4) There can be no charge of "self-pimping".

Who cares? I'd rather someone pimp themselves than have someone do it for them regardless if it makes them uncomfortable.

5) Pics liven up status.

That is your opinion. Other than the GIFS that some people use to enhance their statuses, I find the sharing of gallery pics on status annoying.

Bottom line, you can ASK if the person minds their pics being shared, and, if they say no, do the respectful thing and DON'T SHARE THEM. It isn't all about you and your fun here.

Thank you for clarifying, Arti! I wasn't sure if it linked to profile and had no examples to test. So now, everything Arti said...just freaking ASK if it's okay. It isn't that hard to do.

Signs of change to Status is understood to be in the process.
Two main things I notice.

From my desktop, when I log off,I can't see any pics posted in status. There is just a message.that you need to log in because the member only wants other members to see them basically.

From what I get from posting a pic of someone in their status is 99% liked..

I'm trying to do the opposite to what you may think.
Perhaps ask NN that the facility is not liked ?

As far as I know, you cannot view the pics in full size.

Raven, you are one of the least technical people I know on NN, yet you try and give the impression that you know what you are talking about when you clearly don't. You clearly have a disrespect for other people and their feelings and just like to satisfy your own wanting to shove nudity wherever you can and sod the consequences.
