just short and sweet today..remember to always help a friend in need you never know when that friend might be you...dont ask them why either just do it..i promise in some way it will come back to you in a good way..if its money they need just give it to them if you can..no loans they ruin friendships...or just be there for them in time of any needs...were all human we need to stick together..in every way..have a great weekend yours mike | ||||

remember that old saying any job worth doing is worth doing well...i guess it has a lot of meanings but this one touches home...my friends son in seattle he is only 18...works part time at a gas station..yesterday he knew that people would need gas desperatly for carrs..generators etc...now all roads were blocked for 11 miles between his house and his job..no one else could get there to open the station...he walked that 11 miles in waist high water at times to open that station so the locals could get much needed fuel...im proud to know this young but wise man..this is what that doing a job well above and beyond is all about..it restores my faith in the new generation they are more in tune with reality at times then we are...everyone else is doing fine..most rivers have crested but not going down yet...well i just wanted to share this story of a young man who in his own way helped a whole town...have a great day ive got work to do..lol..yours mike | ||||

just a very quiet day here....but up home in seattle there having a hundred year floods from all the fast snow melt and heavey rains temps went from 20s to 50s in three days all the rivers are flooding..mountain passes are closed interstate5 is closed its a mess..4 of my nieghbors stayed at my house last nght im up on a hill there....but the people in the lowlands are evacuated...my thoughts are with all my friends and nieghbors there..wish you the best...i feel guilty being here but use my home as you need too..also the barns and equipment..i know youll be fine....sent individual emails to all of you..but i know most of you read this daily...stay dry..yours mike p.s. if you need anything at all call my sattelite phone number...fastest way to get me | ||||

first to answer my friends questions...no im not in early retirement....i work every day 3 to 4 hours..i tele commute from wherever i am to my office plus i have very qualified individuals working for me....this is how i guess its semi retirement...lol...but i still control things just not day to day stuff my staff does that..im lucky i have staff that have been with me since my college days...we startedt the company way back then 27 years ago..and the gals and the rest of the staff do a very good job..all our projects are always completed on or before time....well see i still work..except today its my 1st day riding horses since my fall a few months ago...well its hopefully happy trails today..you all have a great day ..yours mike | ||||

was a great day on the slopes...and a better evening here at home fires going warm and cozy...jacuzzi felt great after all that skiing..we had about 8" of fresh powder today...temps are cold though below zero...well tommorrows are last day here..hope you all had a great day...lf not tommorrow will be better always...enjoy your nite..hold someone close yours mike | ||||

well its down to the last few days here...looking forward to scottsdale..but gonna miss allthe lovely snow angels here....went riding yesterday for over four hours seen a lot of beautiful things mother nature has to show here in the rockies...mother natures beauty is like a fine woman..never know what to expect next..and like woman there all beautiful in there own way..guess thats why i love them one and all..there all fantastic when you take the time to really get to know them..well todays a skiing day promised the gals i go with them...maybe there are some snow angels on the slopes..hope so..have a great day..take the time to make a new friend or just cuddle up with an old friend..yours mike | ||||

well good morning all...i dont need to talk about whats been going on here just watch the news...its crazy..we will be here thru sunday...then were headed to scottsdale for some sun fun for awhile...but first i have to hit that snowmobile trail afew more times...still looking for that snow angel to ride with..and yes i stay out of avalanche areas..love life to much to get crazy out there..besides all the cute angels ride the nice trails....well happy trails to you have a great friday...yours mike | ||||
