Sunday, August 7, 2016, 6:53:10 PM- lets go get propane :)

I've been trying to remain in a tank top no bra and too short for public shorts .it's no panties Sunday of course so I couldn't leave the house yikes Thinking of what could possibly happen. I give in and change grab my propane tank and head to hardware store that begins with L and ends with a s . I put the empty in the shopping cart and tote it in to customer service. Oh the lady at the desk just about came undone. She was yelling to get the tank out of the store they aren't allowed . Yikers woman calm down it's empty . I suggested she relax and her eyes grew even bigger and her arms waved in the air pointing to the exit mentioning something about a sign outside warning me about bringing my tank inside

I'm giggling and she is fuming . I inquired on just how I could exchange it and she barked orders at me every so excitedly .You would have thought I had a nuclear device ready to blow. Anyhoo the old tank went outside in its "safe spot" just outside the exit of all glass. If the full tanks out there decided to blow I'm sure the customer service area would be blown to smithereens. I got my new tank paid for and was greeted by some poor old lady to give me my new full/heavy ass tank. Unbelievably a woman in her 60's is on tank duty when a woman in her thirties is barking at me waving her arm athletically. I think someone needs to switch positions and put all her energy into her expertise in propane tanks hehe .
I got my food cooked and it's yummy. Thought I'd share a pic and the experience reaching my goal of having bbq today

Ive decides to watch The Little Prince on netflix this morning. As i began the movie the main character of the film/narrator (jeff bridges ) begins to tell the story . well if a familiar face doesn't show up. I swear to goodness it was our good friend Tux without his cowboy hat and flip flops . The man I'm speaking of is quite a bit older than Tux but ever so wise in his storytelling =) do you see a resemblance?

Ive just started the second season of Born this way . This is a series on the A&E network.It is about a group of young adults with downs syndrome . I have worked with people with developmental disabilities for over 11 years and absolutely love my job.
So many times my clients get stared at ,whispered about and teased it drives me nuts . When I'm with them and this happens i turn Mama bear protective ! its unbelievable how ignorant people can be just because someone looks different ,sounds different or has an extra chromosome . anyhooooo i cry through each episode and think its a great show. Check it out

I think mocking the physical appearance of anyone is beyond the pale. It's not funny when it's done about politicians either. I can understand caricatures to a certain extent but otherwise...? Do we choose our genetic makeup?! People need a clue.
