I shipped a packed to family via the post office. However, I made a near fatal error by using a really wrong zip code. That's what happens when you're in a hurry. The good news is that it should arrive at the right address tomorrow. A little late for Christmas!

That's how far I drove today to help my son paint a few more rooms in his house. There and back with some work in between! At least my day wasn't boring!

Let's see.... I found a dumpster not too far away to throw out all the Christmas debris we made over the weekend. There was no way it was going to fit in our regular rolling trash bin. Then dropped off a carload of junk to Goodwill after listing everything on a spreadsheet. You have to keep good records just in case we get audited.

Then I went over to REI to exchange the gift that didn't fit. Holly Shirt! The line was so long inside I decided to try the exchange on a different day. Funny, I ran into my daughter shopping there too. Small world! Another stop at the grocery store and I was home for the rest of the afternoon.

Of course I found myself wandering across NN and what can I say? It didn't take a rocket scientist to explain I got really horny and needed some relief! Wow! It was messy but wonderful. A quick shower & I'm good to go!

Monday, December 26, 2011, 8:25:38 PM- It's all over!
Just like that, Christmas has come and went. Now, I'm not complaining. It just seems like it was gone way too soon. The house seems quiet with only a football bowl game or two to look forward to.

Of all my gifts, I've got one item to return. I think I'll wait until tomorrow to make that trek. The malls must be crazy with people returning stuff and buying more on sale.

Sometimes things just work out! Yesterday I got an invitation for lunch with the company's CEO of the company I would consider at the very top of my job search. This would be a better job than the one I left. I'd be getting into some heavy duty eCommerce biz!

For a while I thought I might have to take a step backwards but instead it would be a nice improvement. All of a sudden I'm looking forward to Christmas again.
