Going to work was the last thing I wanted to do today. This week has been absolutely terrible. But it turned out that work wasn't that bad today. Goes to show you never can tell, as the song says.

I think today was day five of 100+ temperatures. It's expected to continue through Sunday. That's with the heat index around, say, 110. Suffice to say, it's hot as fuck. It did rain today, which was kind of shocking. It just made it more humid, of course.

One more day to go, and then I'll be off for a couple days. Anyone want to get together? (crickets) anyone? (more crickets) Fine then. I have a book to read anyway.
