haha somedays I love my boss.

On top of all the stress in the past month I have been worried because the subway/bus unions have been talking about going on strike. If that happens I am screwed. It takes me an hour to get to work so taking a taxi would end up costing me more than I make in the end. So I would have no job which means no money which means no place to live. I went to my boss today to basically give him notice because if they go on strike it will probably be in the next week. Anyways he assured me we would work it out and I had NOTHING to worry about. Im still a bit worried but nothing major or that I can't handle.

Then I realized although I had asked him in passing about time off to go to Vegas I never actually booked it. He is known to go away so I was scared the time I want to go away could end up not being ok. Anyways I asked him and he looked at me and said I could have the time off but there was a condition. Hahaha I had to promise him I was going to get laid while I was there. LMAO - he knows I am not like that and besides I can't do one night stands,etc. Maybe I am nuts but he made me smile. My boss isn't much older than me so it wasn't creepy or anything, he just generally wants me to be happy.

Oh and WTF happened to my BlueJays?? they lost to the effin A's again tonight. VB get your ass here and straighten them out would ya?

OK just a quick blog - things are ok with the little one, thank God!. This sounds horrible and yes even funny but the little bugger drank a huge bottle of LISTERINE! No idea what made him do it and no one suspected it was something like that. Apparently they were getting ready to go and he was acting weird but hes a hyper child so they didn't think much of it. Then they told him to put his shoes on and he said he couldn't see them. Then he couldn't stand or make any sense. Hahah classic signs but most people don't look for signs of drunkeness in a 5 year old. I guess they figured it out when he started vomiting and the smell gave him away. At least his parents are having a bit of a break today because the doctor assured them he will be having one major head ache today. LMAO what a little bugger.

I remember once when I was around 7 or so I got sick so my mom had bought a new bottle of Tylenol to give me 2 before bed. The next morning she got up and my brother who was 3 was sitting on her bed eating candy. My mother growled at him and told him he knew better than to eat candy before he had something healthy. His reply..."I did have something healthy! I ate the rest of the things you gave my sister last night." Needless to say it was one quick trip to the hospital where they fed him the junk to induce vomiting.

Oh the joys of children. Somedays I really regret the things I will miss not having any.

You know sometimes I forget that my life is not like everyone elses. Ive had such a messed up life I don't know what normal is and I think its why I appreciate the little things. I finally broke down today and told my boss about the stress happening in my life. I look like crap because I haven't slept in almost a week. He was completely shocked and left speechless -haha something I've never seen happen before. He even called me later in the day to apologize for snapping at me when he didn't even snap. Haha I am pretty soft hearted about little things so had he been short with me I would have noticed.
I am odd like that - I can handle death, nasty situations, etc but the small stuff reduces me to tears.

Anyways I am not going anywhere tonight. I was asked to go a bunch of places but I needed a time out to breathe and push all the shit to the side. It will all be there tomorrow..or Sunday ..or next week whenever I decide to deal with it. Tomorrow will for certain be a better day!

Its weekend time people

EDIT: well so much for the relaxing Friday night. Just got a call from my brother and my cousins son is being rushed to the hospital as we speak.

Whew! I have been so strict with my diet lately as I really really want to be in shape for Vegas and decided not to wait until a week before I go in normally Beachy fashion.

Anyhoo I took some new pics tonight and I am impressed. Still a bit to go but wow what a change from 2 years ago. Kicking my ass that I didnt make all these changes in my life years ago. I am becoming more outspoken to what I want and finally realizing myself worth. I won't lie some days are a lot harder than others ..which explains my request for the hugs the other day which were greatly appreciated by the way!!

Hehe so today can I be greedy and ask for kisses??

Finally today was a good day. I have been having some issues with my landlord and finally got that settled. I don't really care for my apartment but I really don't feel like moving right this moment especially as I am saving for Vegas. Plus I got two new clients today at work which means commission which also helps with Vegas. Haha oh yeah and I realized how bad I am with money when I was looking for something in my apartment and found $32 scattered around the house and a scratch ticket for $5 lmao.

I know this is early but its just something else that put a smile on my face today.

Help me! Help me! HELPPPPPPP ME!!

OK so I am in a mini dilema.

I am trying to get back on track and be healthy so at the moment I am on a detox program. Thats not the issue! The issue is because of it I reallllllllllllllllllllllllly need to pee - but I am watching a hockey game and since I have needed to pee my team has scored twice and now taken the lead. As you can tell I am superstitious and I just can't risk it. But I have to pee soooooooooooooooooooooo bad. If this game goes to overtime the result could be a beachy puddle. Oh the things I do for my team!!

Guess what! It DIDN'T snow today!!!!! Woot maybe there is an end to this endless tunnel called winter yet! I'm not stupid--- now that I have said that I will except the mandatory last storm but at least the sunshine this week will melt some of what is here now.

Now onto bigger and better this...do you know what this is?? Its BON JOVI week!! Wooohooo 3 more sleeps until the concert and I can't wait. I don't care if I have to snow shoe to the concert I am going

I FUCKING HATE WINTER!!!!!!!!!

Jesus Christ I have shovelled THREE times already today, not to mention once yesterday. Each time I have shovelled at least 20 cms. The fucking white shit just won't stop falling. I know crying and yelling and screaming and making a general ass of myself won't change anything but I am beyond frustrated. I have no where left to put the snow. Literally with every shovel full I lift I have to walk forever just to dump it. Don't even get me started on the extra 4' section I have at the end of my drive way where the snow is about 2' feet from the plows going by. My 2 idiot male neighbours have no fucking clue what a shovel is so I sure don't have any help.
Every weekend my plans with friends are cancelled because no one can get anywhere. I look like a sheep dog because everytime I have an appointment to get my hair cut it fucking storms. I am supposed to go again on Thursday before the Bon Jovi concert but you guessed it...its going to fucking snow AGAIN!
