OK, so is it totally wrong of me to report pics that I see that "violate" the same unwritten rule that mine were deleted for?? It bothers me that mine were deleted while others (regular, long time members) that are of the same content are still up. I feel there is favoritism afoot, and when you are a mod that is not something you can allow yourself to have.

I just thought I would share my response to spicy_purr's mass message to all of her friends

My sister and I are "couponers", and regularly donate to a local food bank. Over the past week we have been buying new supplies as well as boxing up our "stockpile" to donate to the victims of Colorado's fires. We have also joined with several other couponers here in our local area to do the same. Many times people from other states help when our area is hit by tornadoes (which seems to happen often), and we never forget. This is going to be our way of giving back! I know, very well, the definition of tough times, as I have lived it and still struggle often. But to really put it in perspective, if everyone in the US alone donated just $1 to the relief effort, we would have over $300million. I think I can go without a morning cup of coffee, or that candy bar at the store while waiting in line. Every little bit helps, and a little from many is all it takes!

I hope you are able to put yourself in their shoes for a minute. What if everything you owned was destroyed? Do you have the savings and resources to replace it all and start over? Could you imagine having memories and keepsakes gone forever? I know the feeling and hope no one ever has to feel it. But when the unfortunate and unthinkable happen to people who don't deserve it, I want to be there to help.

Now I kind of feel like I have been a part of one of those "help the starving children in a third world country" info-mercial telethons I will wrap it up
