Painting with Light is a photographic technique that I have seen and been wanting to try out.

It is essentially reversing the normal process of taking a photograph. The shutter is held open for an extended time in a darkened environment. The subject is then lit by a small light, only lighting portions at a time allowing different exposures to be applied to different parts of the subject.

So, Imagine if you will, A naked subject, posed and then carefully lit - changing colours of the light as you fancy. You can control the shadows and enhance the curves.

It definitely is past time to update here again with some more photoshoot ideas too!

So I will try work on those as well as getting into taking some new photos

Of course - ideas will always help

It's much more fun bouncing ideas of each other

One of the hardest things to face and keep going is that feeling of emptiness that is left behind.
Where you put all your energy into some one you think you know and understand and they were not who you thought they were. They said all the right things, but in reality you were carefully hidden away from their real live.
Only kept around to help them get up again. Demanded to be on call to their bidding. But never allowed to ask for anything. Your plans are inconsequential. Theirs over-ruling.
Go find something to do then they say - ignoring that every time you have done this their demands have broken your plans.

Emotional commitment is always demanded but never offered.

How does one find a way out when the cause of the problem is only really its solution - but the solution won't happen while the problem is present.

When what is needed is someone to curl up with and hold on tight, To actually share a life with. When every attempt at this is met with lies and selfishness.

When there is no one to turn to. No one around. No one to say help to?
How do you get out of this without months or years of hurt?

Monday, October 29, 2012, 4:16:21 AM- Survived the zombie Apocalypse

So I have kind of made it back from the zombie attack - A month spent filming bits and taking photos for a fund raiser for the SPCA here. From the sounds of things we raised a few $$ for them and managed to have the most amazing time

Made the papers in print 4 times in the week with the fun too!
