Saturday, June 23, 2012, 3:49:05 PM- Don't mix children and microwaves
So last night I was peckish, I delve into the cupboard and lo and behold micro popcorn, great I thought to myself sorted. Read the back 800watts 2-3 mins so I put it in for 2:30 mid way safe right.

Then "daddy I need you" comes from upstairs right got couple of mins I'll go upstairs sort him out and then sort the pop corn.

"I need a wee wee daddy" right I thought take him down stairs through the kitchen to the bathroom and he can sort himself out.

So I'm walking downstairs *pop, pop, pop, pop* great alls going well. Down the stairs into the kitchen 25 secs left microwaves a bit smokey I thought Boys in bathroom open the microwave smoke billows out "oh shit, bugger, damn, bollocks!" I'm choking, open the kitchen window rush to the door just bout to shut it then "daddy I still need a wee" "shit the boy!"

He's standing there bathroom door wide open staring at the smog wondering why he's coughing. Right back through the smog into the bathroom shut the door open the window still choking sort the boy out then have to take him back through the kitchen which is still so thick it stings the eyes to get him to bed.

1 hour later I'm still choking and the microwaves a funny brown colour on the inside.

moral of the story think twice before you leave a microwave unattended for 2 mins after carefully reading the instructions
