Haven't been on for a long time. Just had a new baby in December - a girl this time God help me. Believe I am having the Mom curse - the "I hopt you have a daughter that acts jsut like you". ARRGGHH!
Can't wait until next week when get the doctor clearance to have sex again. It has been way too long.

Got a message on Monday that bald will be home on Friday. Just as the celebration was started my hopes were dashed. He called today and said that he was voluntered to stay longer as he has the expertise. That is great for him as it gives him the kudos on his job but sucks for me as I was so looking forward to him being home finally. I know he'll only be extended for a few more days but it still sucks. Just when I thought there was light at the end of the tunnel...nope, it's a train.
Having my own pity party over here.

Ok - it may be just me but here goes. My hubby is currently overseas and has been for about a month now. I don't know if it is because it's been a while for sex but man, everyone is starting to look really good. Call me crazy but ther is someone I work with that it looking mighty nice right now. Think the hubby just needs to come home.
Oh, well - guess there are always toys.

Been gone for a while - said when I moved to Ohio from AZ (what the hell was I thinking) that I would reform my wicked ways. Well, that has lasted all of about - a few months - I must have great willpower! either that or have been incredibly busy. Hope to see the regular folks soon and play catch up.

Maybe this is a place to put this or maybe not. I have worked for a major US airline for the past 7 years. I have never watched any coverage on the 9/11 acts since that date. I ahve no idea why I watched it tonight but the movie "Flight 93" was on A&E tonight. Maybe due to airline stuff, maybe as am flying off on my honeymoon on 9/11 in one direction while my son goes off in another with his grandparents, who knows. I think I cried the entire time this movie was on - and I am not a cryer. I sometimes think these things should never be show - the pain/sorrow/fear these people must have felt - as I feel that I felt some part of that watching this. But sometimes I feel that they should be show - partly due to the same reason but maybe more for the courage and strength they showed even in the face of fear. I think that this, for my generation, is the JFK moment. My parents genration all knew where they were and what they were doing when JFK got shot - my generation is about this.
I have no idea why I wrote this here - maybe b/c it is my only avenue to espress it. Thanks for letting me.

Know its been a long time have not been on. To all of my friends I am very sorry. There has been alot going on here with the sale of my house, my son, the merger of my company, the sudden death of my Aunt this morning and oh yes, bald and I are getting married in September. Yes ladies (and gents) - he'll be off the market soon - sorry

but I got to him first. Anyway, just wanted to let ya'll know you are not forgotten but just have had a lot on my plate recently. to all who have sent PM"s since April 1 - I will get back to you when I have time but I am not ignoring you.

one - dog hair - no matter how many times you vacuum, has a magnetic attraction to your carpet or tile.
two - I may not keep a diary but Visa certainly does it for me.
three- people will try to get something for nothing - try selling a house - you'll figure this one out real quick.
four - (and this has nothing to do with my relationship with bald) love doesn't conquer all - it's the sacrifices and compromises you make in the name of love that does
five - a college education is now a business first and an education second. I had a 3.9 when I graduated with my BA in 1999 but they want me to show my high school diploma to enroll in school...hello?????

There are probably a lot more but these come to mind first.

Monday, April 24, 2006, 5:44:30 AM- Cleaning before the cleaners

Something I am wondering about....I have a cleaning company coming tomorrow to deep clean the house from top to bottom. I keep the house picked up but it had to get all the "fun" stuff done as I am the primary caregiver for my son. My question is this - why do you clean the house before the cleaners come? I mean, they know we need the house cleaned because we hired them in the first place! I understand they are not maids but still ,it is a little wierd.

Saturday, April 22, 2006, 5:22:39 AM- Geez this is depressing

I have no idea why as I know I made the right decision but, in the midst of packing some my stuff to put in storage, I am a little sad. I am selling my house here in AZ to move to Ohio to be with my boyfriend, who is also the father of my 7 month old. I guess it is just closing a chapter in my life and it is suppossed to be sad. I also never realized how many books I have! I have always been a voracious reader but I have almost gotten my 5 bookshleves emptied and am at 10 banker's boxes of books. and this is after weeding out some of the ones I am not taking.

As most of the people here know, baldguy73 and I have been together for 2 years and have a wonderful 7 month old son together. Push has come to shove and a decision needed to be made on who was going to move where. Originally he was going to move here but, with the merger of my company, I am not too thrilled with the direction my company is taking (we are taking on many of the business practices of the company we merged with and, while we made a profit last year, they were in bankruptcy). I have decided to move there this summer, finish nursing school, and make a go of it with bald. He is a great friend and lover and a wonderful father.

My only question is this...will I have to change my screen name???
