Real bodies vs. model bodies??

I love this site because these pictures are of real bodies not model type bodies. I prefer the real bodies with all their differences that make them unique, not the typical model bodies. All different shapes, sizes, and colors. Do you agree?

Plus models tend to have so much makeup on if they smile to much the foundation will crack

One of my main reasons for loving this site is that it shows me the basic sexiness of all bodies. However, I must say that 'model' bodies ARE real bodies.

One of the main reason I come here is to see the pics and interact with "real" women.

If I want to see pornstars and models...(and believe me I enjoy them as much as anyone)...that stuff is all over the internet.

I come here because there are real people here and I find interacting with them, discussing sex and sharing pictures very sexy & fun.

And you know there are a lot of very beautiful people here as well, just not airbrushed or professionls and to me a "real" women who is beautiful and sexy is even hotter than the model or pornstar.

If the average woman fashion model was a man he would look something like this:6feet 6 inches tall. 130 pounds, no muscle tone,or shoulders etc. In other words an anorexic version of David Bowie only taller and thinner. Pete

Well thanks for pointing that out

Half of the models in photo shoots take hours to get ready. Proper lighting, tones of makeup to hide there blemishes and zits. There is alot you men dnt know about these things.

We NN ladies dnt need loads of make up or a hair stylist to make ourselves look good.

One more thing. About 5 years ago I bought some magazines at a flea market.They were Hustler Beaver Hunt issues dating back at least 20 years.These were magazines where real women submit photos.Most were sporting hairy bushes,no fake tits and real figures.Thats sexy.Almost every magazine you look at today mainstrean for example People, US etc. airbrushes and distorts photos.So again you are looking at a painting. BEB -- We're not discussing photography in this thread. We're discussing physiques. Many women and men on this site have bodies that would be right at home in Playboy or Playgirl or Revlon or Ambercrombie, etc...and they're just as real as anyone.

Maybe the question most people seem to be reading here, but I'm missing is: do you prefer amateur photography to professional photography?

Um. Not really. Wouldn't want to have one without the other. I'd say no preference.

Hello - first time poster here. Personally I prefer NN members who put a bit of time and thought into the quality of their photos. It is not necessary to have a perfect "10" body (although it certainly helps) to create erotic photos to be shared here. Photography of the physique of either sex is an art form. I see too many cell phone pix and out of focus shots here that do not deserve posting in my opinion.

With the cost of digital cameras being reasonable I would encourage posters to take a bit of time to experiment with lighting and backgrounds. Sometimes the difference between a great photo and an average one is very little. I believe almost any physique can be shown in its best with a bit of thought put into the photo.

Just my 2 cents.

However, I think another poster made the point that I think we were making about the bodies not being real -- they are essentialy paintings of what editors think we want to see.

There is never a stretch-mark or dark vein to be found. Funny, a friend of mine went to see one of these models at a strip club and was disspaointed by the "realness" of her body.

That's one of the things that keeps me coming back to NN. The photos maynot all float my fancy - but they are (almost all) real people.

So yes model bodies are "real" but the images they present to us as "bodies" are not.

Magazine and catalog photos are altered. Sure they have to look good in the first place though but it's taken to an impossible perfection with the airbrushing or computer editing.
