This is very upsetting news.
I was missing his unique input into forum for quite some time and was wondering why.
I'm very sad that Walt has left us.
There was no doult that he was a great character with a heart of gold.

Agreed Betty. He was one that was always positive, and never said a negative thing that I can remember about anyone. I was so sad to hear about his passing, and had a hard time believing it.

he had a good send off, sadly i couldn't get there due to the time and distance, but i've heard from his brother and they've been overwhelmed by messages about him and its helped them a lot ...
His fave car was a Holden and he travelled his last few miles in a Holden Statesman
