Very well said and , as long as I have been here and that is one year less the creation of this site so many years gone now.

And one of the things that I to have witnessed over the years ,are the exact behaviour of this shallow dweebs. I have seen many a good person leave this site due to their discouragement of these nasty pieces of work.

I have always wondered how pathetic these peoples lives must be if the actions here are reflective of who they are in the "real World" They must have quite an empty existence, terribly said if you ask me .

There is a university of doctorates in psychology and Nobel prizes for those that can unravel why people say things on-line that they would never say to someone's face. Trolling and bullying is the ugliest and most despicable version of that. These malignant ulcers need to be excised and flushed away at every opportunity.

There are people very close to me that have encountered this misogynistic drivel. It is heartbreaking to witness the impact of this behaviour on loved ones.

I absolutely and wholeheartedly agree with and applaud everything you say EC. I am glad to read that these misfits get blocked and good on NN for doing that.

The worst aspect of this, in my experience, is that those that cop this filth feel vulnerable, isolated and alone. To you who have had to endure this garbage, EC has nailed it: these gutless rants speak volumes about the trolls, not you. I urge you to speak up, report and get them blocked. Support is always close by.

I hope that this blog rallies people to say "Trolls - enough, no more, go away. You are not welcome. Your behaviour is unacceptable and will never be tolerated and will blocked at every opportunity. "

And to the trolls - grow up and get a life.

EC, think of it this way. Every troll who posts some mindless dribble for you to read, does so quickly. See, he has to put on more than just his underwear because his mommy just opened the basement door to call him up for his din-din. He can no longer dress as 'Super Troll', he must assume his mild mannered Turbo Dweeb appearance. Yes, he's probably in his 30's, living in his mommies basement and thinks 'Spaghettios' are a food group. I know it's like a slap, but pay it no mind pretty Lady. You bring more joy to us who are enthralled with you, than those mental midgets will ever know. I'm glad you have more steel in your spine than they do. Stand tall dear Lady, if you've never been criticized, you've never done anything.

Criticism can be a slippery slope but I embrace it as long as it's constructive and addressed with me privately. I'm just thankful that I'm a premium member and can delete comments that don't belong in my gallery or anywhere else in my profile. Non-premium members are stuck with them forever.

See, I just found another silver lining. ;)

I work in an industry where being relevant and topical is de rigeur. Better to be talked about - good or bad - than not at all. So, Power....point taken. ;)

There always has to be some stroke bag who has to spoil the fun. What their reason or problem is I don't know.Some one recently stated in status that this is supposed to be a fun place. But as we know the evil and venomous trolls lay in wait to spout their bullshit. Keep slaying them my queen. I know you will never give them an inch as the Malifacent woman you are.

When you get hate mail like that, you should reply and say, "I am very sorry that you have a problem with yourself and the only way to handle it is to lash out on others. I hope you can find and fix what your problem is, as there is nothing wrong with me. Good luck". Then delete there e-mail. Honestly, they do have a problem and have no other way to deal with it but bash others that enjoy there lives.

There are probably thousands of members who receive such messages or comments. It is a sad way to be and unfortunately, it's indicative to the site. I do feel for you and have also been subjected to such bile. But I do as NN told me many years ago......(before the block feature was created) and that was to ignore them and report them. Now, we do have the block feature and NN encourages us all to use it. Report, screen shot, report, and block. Yes, in a perfect world there wouldn't be trolls or those who use ghost accounts to lash out. But that is the way it is here. We can get someone deleted if the harassment is ongoing, but that does take time. Hang in there and remember, for as many bad eggs are on NN, there are more good apples and nice people. If you suspect it might be a member hiding under another name, ask support to look into it with both names.

Hang in there! We have to take the good with the bad here on NN. It's the way it has always been.
