I watched it too. Interesting point he made in 2010? about the US space program stagnating and how it would be filled by other nations. Just look at china and india to see how right he was. Can't wait for the SLS program to take off in a few years and the US reclaims it's leadership in space exploration.

I agree, even some of the simple things that have came out of the space program. A good light read about the space program and some of the stuff that goes into it is: Packing for Mars" by Mary Roach, she is a humorous writer, it even uses the term "space spluge".
