If we didn't comply we were sent to our room without dinner or when we got home we had to stand in the corner. It worked. NerdyBird	2-Mar-14 9:24:23 We have a phrase in our house, "What does whining get you?" To which the answer is, "Nothing." Munchkin hates it, but it works. As soon as she gets that jerky, high pitched tone in her voice, what ever it is that she want's is automatically answered with a No. If you fuss, pitch a fit, or cry about it..you're not getting anything. If you are willing to discuss whatever it is that you want like the perfectly sane person I hope we're raising you to be, then maybe we can work something out. Also..the right in their face, whispering thing is awesome. You literally don't have to threatening them with a single thing, you just have to be super menacing. :D
