I got quite upset last night when the kids went to bed, but I am feeling a bit better today. I think it was having to play everything down for hours to them, then the minute they went to bed I just crumbled! I have myself together again now though,

Well, when I say together.......I mean as together as my life ever is.

Tonights drama is that my eldest has kept hold of some money of mine and is trying to tell me she gave me it back.....When I know for a fact she didn't! WW3 is kinda kicking off here tonight, but right now my life has a new WW3 every night....grrrr

I took the little guy to the vets today, and the news isn't the greatest ever

It seems he has a problem with his back, so he got a couple of injections and I have medicine to give him and then I have to take him back on Friday.

Unfortunately, that isn't the worst of it! The vet says he has a heart murmur too, but they will have to wait till his back is better to decide if it is serious or just connected to the pain he is right now.

My heart is breaking for him just now, he is such a soft little soul at the best of times but right now I just want to cuddle him better....and he is milking every second of it...

At horse riding, I hit the deck again last night....but this time there really was nothing I could do about it. I was jumping a youngster who really has no jumping experience at all. We both crashed and burned out together (although I think I came off the worst, heehee) He will learn, hopefully before he kills me though!

On the doggie front things aint so good. I am taking the little one to the vets tomorrow, although I'm not sure what is wrong with him....He aint limping, but he isn't himself - he is very sluggish, uninterested in everything and I had to carry him home from the last half mile of his walk today. I don't really get it....like I said he isn't limping but he seems really stiff on one of his back legs. Hopefully the vet will be able to figure things out tomorrow......I think they may have had a fight and he may have been put in his place

Blehhhhhhh, I had the full blog typed out but removed it for my own personal reasons!

Just had to spend the night comforting a friend who has had to deal with a major loss.......which kinda puts all other things into perspective.

I have had lots keeping me busy and out of trouble the last few days. So I haven't been able to spend as much time around here as I usually can.

My boss has gone off on a week and a halfs holidays (yipeeeeee) leaving me in charge, which makes life a lot easier for the rest of us since I am pretty much doing her job anyway, so now we can relax and just get on with things.

The dogs have been 'interesting' to say the very least...It turns out my little cocker is the one who is the biggest problem! I didn't realise he could be such a jealous little bugga, lol, but he is getting there too.

Studying....well, it's been a couple of years since I had any real learning to do and I had forgotten how much self-discipline it can take, but again - I'm getting there.

And the housework......lmao!! Lets just say my house looks like it is lived in, by an army and their dogs.

Pretty much sums up my week!

I was a bit worried about bed time last night, as to how the dogs would get on through the night. LOL....I really need not have worried, because other than a little whining through the night he wasn't too bad. Although, I did get the fright of my life when I heard a strange noise so opened my eyes. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. In the pitch dark room, there was what looked like a big bear standing on top of my chest of drawers in the corner!!

Once my eyes got used to the dark, I realised that the new doggie had decided to make his bed outa the way of the little one and so had jumped ontop of the drawers to sleep. I chased him a couple of times but then decided he was probably better off up there, so I removed my clothes which he was using as cushions and threw some old blankets up there for him!!

Talk about Making yourself at home

Is what my house has now been reduced to!! We got our new visitor today.....A one year old border collie, who my li'l cocker spaniel has fallen in love with (and by love, I mean he is constantly trying to make love to him...lol)

When they aint doing that, they are play fighting and generally doing the kind of stuff teenage boys do together to get that top-dog status......The first couple of hours were quite amusing and funny, but I am now beginning to realise that tonight is going to be a very long night...!!

I was supposed to get my hair done today, and I had plucked up the courage to tell her what colour I wanted but apart from that leave it to her what she did with it.....(I do trust her!!) but she had to cancel at the last minute....grrrrrrrrrrr

Anyway, apart from that, I visited chat a while ago and it was a good giggle. Now I have dinner almost ready, I am trying to force myself to start studying....as you can see, I am not doing too well with that right now!!

Somebody twist my arm for heavens sake!!!
