I have been busy, busy, busy, of late but, I always try to take in my surroundings.... I find looking through the lens of a camera therapeutic and calming often seeing things that other pass by without even noticing... So I though I would share a few from recent journey's into work, I hope you all like them....

I got asked at work if I could take some pictures of the surrounding areas.... (like I was going to refuse) so in this lovely sunny weather it was time to go play... (it certainly wasn't work as far as I was concerned...lol )

I love my photography, I don't love not being able to spend enough time doing it. For those that like the technicalities they are as follows:

I am using an Olympus E500 Digital SLR with a 40-150mm lens.
The picture with the sparkles on the water is achieved by using a star filter.
All the others have a circular polarising filter on the lens except the last one that has brown filter on it....

Well I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them... great way to spend an afternoon and get paid...lol

Dreams and desires are not always what you want them to be in real life, but on the odd occasion they live up to the wildest dreams and exceed… Thank god for that!!!

There are people in the world that are all woe me and there are those that are so what!!! Others that get knocked down pick themselves up and get on with it and those that just stay there blaming everyone else…. This is not a criticism of anyone because I know as well as many others that there are days when getting back up are so difficult you wonder why…. Well to all those that reach that point just hold out your hand, you may be surprised by how many and who is there to pick you up dust you off and help you stay standing…..

I have meet so many wondrous people in my life , some have been fleeting moments some I hope will stay for ever but if they don’t I will always cherish the moments we had. I have found many on here which was in fact a very big surprise to me, I am honoured to call them my friends and love them to pieces…. Strange little community we have here really.

Everyone comes here for their own reasons, and for that you have to respect them, you may not agree with those reasons, but they are all valid if it is their own, so you have to respect them. For those you don’t agree with then ignore walk away and move on, for those you do, cherish and get to know them… there are some very interesting, genuine and intelligent people on here….(as well as sexy delicious and delightful) …..

I guess what I am saying is that not everyone is the same…. Thank god (life would be so dull if it was)

Right I am going to do a roll call: not everyone will be on this list so don’t take offence if you’re not…

Lil Bunz – girl you are one of the best people on here without a shadow of doubt form the first time we made contact we hit it off…. Not sure how my life would be without you in it as a very close friend…. Thank you

Milfmuffin – A woman I have nothing but true admiration for, after everything you have been through and your tireless efforts to raise awareness many woman would have retreated and run from life, you grab it with both hand and throttle it, and always with a beautiful smile…. On the 14th June 2011 my mother passed away after a long hard fight with cancer.... She knew that day it was going to happen looking back at everything.

Today, 26th March, would have been her birthday and my parents Wedding Anniversary. (My day was shrewd had them on the same day so he couldn't forget them...lol) On their wedding day some 46 years ago it snowed!!! Yes they had a white wedding in more than one way....

Last year was the first year of her birthday without her being around on her birthday and it didn't affect me at all.... This year (if its due to the weather (all the snow) or not) it is effecting me quite a lot. Even writing this is difficult, I have to keep stopping to pull myself together. (I am at work after all crying for no apparent reason could be seen as a little mad)

I miss my mum a whole lot and there are things going on in my life at the moment I would so of loved to be able to talk to her about. She was always the voice of reason and put me in my place.

Last year I ran 14.5miles to raise money for charity in memory of her and this year I was to do a 100 mile bike ride in one day but, due to health reason this has had to be put on hold until next year. I think this, the snow and other factors have all contributed to me missing her a lot of late.

For those who say it gets easier with time... it doesn't... you always miss the ones you love and who loved you unconditionally...

To my mum: I will always love you and always miss you.

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of an early morning drive down to Newquay along the coast road.... The sunrise was beautiful so I just had to stop at some pictures of the wind turbines and I thought some of you may enjoy them too:











then as I got closer to Newquay I remembered this place.... most people park a car in their gardens..... not an airoplane...lol





and last but not least the following day I had to go to Launceston.... this is the sunrise I was greeted with this time...




What a beautiful part of the world I live in, shame I cant always take time to stop and admire it.
