| Friday, November 20, 2009, 10:12:06 PM- I love pink | really I do. No not Pink the singer aka Alicia Moore, although I think she rocks : ) I mean the colour pink - and BOY am I pink at the moment. Currently got pink finger an toe nails, oh yeah and fecking electrifying pink hair hahahahahaha
I am thinking of trying multi coloured hair, but am scared it's gonna end up looking like tartan ..not quite what I fancy really.

I like the winter time, but the dark hours are not depressing to me, just er dark ?? lol I do yearn for some lighter shades of grey at this time of night : (
I just splashed out £48 on past papers - damn prelims !!! Oh well it is all in a good cause, perhaps one day my eldest may thank me, but so far I'm the cruel crypt keeper aparantly for making them do mock exams. | Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 8:04:15 AM- The written word | Well, at some point or other a fair number of us venture into the NN chat rooms. Personally I started with pervin pics, then into chat then after flippin ages the forum. Now I blog with only recently a couple of visits back into chat.
Over the years it has struck me just how different the humour is in various countries. That and the fact that some people just dont either get or like sarcasm. Whatever - I can be sarcastic on occasion and do like sarcasm. Some say that it is the lowest form of wit - harumph. I say if you like it and it can make you laff then it's alright as long as you aint breakin any laws LOL
I also think that sometimes, without seeing a persons face or hearing different inflections in their voice or emphasis on 'other' syllables - we don't get the subtleties or nuances that we would pick up on in a face to face conversation. Body language is completely missed too, so sometimes it is a gamble eh ???
I have seen people verbally jumped and beaten over the head with a big stick in chat, for nothing less than a slight misunderstanding over wording of a question or comment. I think what a lot of chat room users forget is that english is not everybodys first or main language.
I am not talented in language, I speak english as I was born to an english speaking country, my grasp of french is pretty basic and my latin, well it was always better than my french.
I'd love to be fluent in another language, and have it on my to do list *sigh* One day !!!!

I am starving hungry all over again and I think it has to be crepes that I eat, and I don't have an oranges to make the orange sauce : (

| Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 8:24:26 AM- Big burly men ??? | I wish lol Sadly that is not the answer, just more hours in the day. I don't have to do everything yself but it helps if I want something done just 'so' lol
Mr is busy working elsewhere, and the enormity of moving from this house has just hit me in the last couple of days.
This is my busiest time of year workwise ..... and out of my 9 weeks three weekends are unavailable for clearing/packing.
Therefore I'm starting small and going through each room methodically argh.
I did have a pm asking me if I had burned my undies as there had not been pics of me for a while lmao NO I haven't, I just haven't felt much like taking pics. I might again, who knows ???

I ain't violent honest, but those of you who are parents will feel pain when your child has been hurt - doesn't have to have been physical pain but an emotional pain gah cuts ya right to the heart, trust me.
I believe in karma, and one day this person will feel the pain they inflicted. Slowly slowly catchee monkey an all that - personally this is the type of person I think if I give them just enough rope they would probaly hang themself. YES I don't mean literally c'mon ......... but I DO wanna see them fall flat on their face : )
OOH that felt good to vent - I expended a lot of energy earlier, cos I know my kid is worried and that makes me sad : ( But I have to be the calm serene one who supports ma kid so they have the confidence to face down their fears and triumph !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
