At first I thought these were matching houses, then later I saw they were more like King and Queen, or his and hers...

I just felt like sharing these pics I snapped quick style today. We got some unbelievably heavy rains yesterday and this morning. What is below is the aftermath. There is a road which is closed, that you cannot see due to all the water. The river is somewhere between .25-.5 miles away and yet the water was still pouring over about 5PM this evening.

The parking lot has been invaded by the water swimmers

Just a quick view of how far it flooded

A little closer look at how far it flooded

As far as I know, there was nobody caught in the flooding, but there could have quite possibly been buildings flooded and damaged. One of the things we have to always watch out for.

TRIVIA. ON JULY 20, 1969, AS COMMANDER OF THE APOLLO 11 LUNAR MODULE, NEIL ARMSTRONG WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO SET FOOT ON THE MOON. HIS FIRST WORDS AFTER STEPPING ON THE MOON, "THAT'S ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND," WERE TELEVISED TO EARTH AND HEARD BY MILLIONS. BUT JUST BEFORE HE RE-ENTERED THE LANDER, HE MADE THE ENIGMATIC REMARK - "GOOD LUCK, MR. GORSKY". MANY PEOPLE AT NASA THOUGHT IT WAS A CASUAL REMARK CONCERNING SOME RIVAL SOVIET COSMONAUT. HOWEVER, UPON CHECKING, THERE WAS NO GORSKY IN EITHER THE RUSSIAN OR AMERICAN SPACE PROGRAMS .. OVER THE YEARS, MANY PEOPLE QUESTIONED ARMSTRONG AS TO WHAT THE 'GOOD LUCK, MR.
