Well take a look at the calander. Supposed to have potatos in by this Friday. Good Friday ya know, and what do we have new snow. Man this has been one long winter the first snow came in November and as always I welcomed in the new season. /me likes the four seasons equally, but old man winter has worn out his welcome this year.

Spring what a time, the grass begins to grow, I plant my garden, finish up all the outside jobs we didn't get done last fall, can't wait for that memorial day party man the freinds all want to hang out on the deck till 4 in the morning. Then off to summer.

Man, I am ready for summer, mowing the yard, working up a good sweet running or riding my bike, having a beer on the deck with all the neighbors on Friday night and building a little fire to take the nip out of the air at midnight, mainly just so the kids can do SMORES, the crack of the bat, early morning tee times, taking Sunday and doing nothing but sitting by the lake in a loose pair of shorts, no boxers,and reading the paper and watching the kids play in the water all day, all the women in hot little outfits and/or bikini tops. MMMMM can't wait till the DOG DAYS OF SUMMER.

I know that I am going to catch alot of shit for this one but what the hell, that is why i got big shoulders.

Valentines day is just another day that is comercialized by Hallmark cards, flower stores and the candy people. Isn't that what is happening to all holidays, half of the people don't even beleive in Jesus but market the shit out of presents for people to give out at Christmas and Easter. Thanksgiving used to be a time for being thankful for what we have, now it is a day of rest so that people can go fight with each other over the newest toy at 4:00 in the morning on Friday. Noone even goes to Memorial day services, what is this day off for???

Oh what the hell it is the way of the world that we live in.

Don't think that I am all bahhhh humbug, just sick of the comercialization, and the people that make a big day out of Valentines day but fight like cats and dogs the other 364 or this year 365 days of the year.

Here is my advice: Live everyday as it is your last. Beleive that today is the first day of the rest of your life. And love like everyday is Valentine's Day! If we all do that what a beautiful world we will have.

Wow has a long weekend, and starting to come down with some sort of upper respritory cold or something. Basically just feel like crap and would like to sleep the day away. But know that I cannot, have tons that I need to get done for work.

Beings it was a Monday and we all have busy weeks ahead I thought that a quote about time would be applicable.
