"I've gotta ask you a question." said the woman at the McCain rally. "I do not..I don't trust Obama. I have read about him and he's not, he's not...he's an Arab."

"No ma'am."

No ma'am indeed. This is only the most egregious case of ignorance on the McCain campaign trail where routinely Obama is called a terrorist and has had his life threatened by people in the audience. In Georgia someone shouted "Bomb Obama!" at a senatorial debate.

I know McCain wants to win. I know he has nothing to run on but character attacks. But please Senator McCain, don't you realize who you're talking about?

This man is a month away from becoming our first black president. A monumental event in our history. I'm not even voting for Obama, (McKinney) but I will celebrate it as a great day. there will be, however, many who will not. Hate and racism is well and alive in the US and those forces of hate do not need any prodding from a campaign whose only tactic as they watch their chances fade is to vilify their opponent.

I wonder if McCain remembers the church bombings of the 60's. I wonder if he remembers the assassinations of MLK, Medgar Evers, Emmet Till and so many others. I wonder if he remembers more recently James Byrd who was murdered when he was tied to a truck by Klan members and dragged down the road in East TX.

People are voting against Obama for his name, his religion (Muslim) and his race. There are many who would want to see him killed. We do not need to make people angrier by inferring that he is a terrorist. We do not need to stoke the flames of hate by implying that he is a Manchurian Candidate or any other such hateful ridiculousness.

Ironically it is the McCain campaign making the charge that Obama is seeking the presidency for reasons of personal ambition and celebrity. McCain, the biggest celebrity whore in the Senate says this. McCain who basically sold out his own "mavericky" views in order to be nominated in a fascist Republican party.

McCain's own ambition is so great he is willing to put another man's life at greater risk than it already would be as the first black president. He must know it's not a winning strategy, it is only going to breed hate.

He may indeed now realize what he's done. As he pulled the mic from the crazy woman at his rally he said, "No ma'am, no ma'am, no ma'am. He's a decent family man who I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign is all about."

At another point McCain said, "We want to fight and I will fight, but we will be respectful. I admire Senator Obama and his accomplishments, and I respect him." Earlier he said, "I want to be President of the United States and obviously I do not want Senator Obama to be...but I have to tell you...he is a decent person and person who you do not have to be scared [sic] as President of the United States."

Both comments were roundly booed.

NN is a very angry place. You'd think with all the nudity and masturbation people would be in better moods...and I don't even look in the forum anymore.

When it stops being fun there's no point to this site. Guys, NN is not going to solve any of the world's problems so relax. How 'bout we all rub one out together? Won't that be nice? This was hilarious! As I was watching Bill Maher on HBO as I always do on Friday nights, someone started yelling from the audience. It went on long enough that he actually got up and went into the audience to help toss the guy out. I'm not sure how smart it was to make such big deal of it, 'cause I'm sure that others will get the idea now as well, but it sure was fkn funny at the time! As for their issue...no comment.

And so it begins - early wake up tomorrow. It's going to be hundreds of kids, numerous e-mails, so many questions, assholes at every location, being late, lots of noise, lots of paperwork, too many names, carrying things - lots of things, sweat, spit, hand sanitizer, lunch in the car, Hot fkn Cross Buns, a little innocent perving, driving too much and ultimately loving it.

No more bs warnings, I'm just gonna dive in.
